Which one is that, and do you have open slots? I'm tired of logging onto unknown servers and being booted for not having the time to slough through 8 pages or more of willy-nilly rules, so I commit the heinous crime of resting in chainmail (sigh).

I just wish to find a nice place to play and have fun, without too many strange rules (I can even live with the rules, just let me read them once and be done with it), and a good player-base.

I miss my times at the server I hung out in a year back. It went down.

  8. What would Munch think of it? on Securing Pricelessness · · Score: 5, Interesting

Being Norwegian I was quite interested in this, as were the Norwegian media. The largest Norwegian television-channel, NRK, interviewed a biographer of Munch's. When asked what he supposed Munch would have thought of this theft he replied something like (and I'm translating off the top of my head here):

If it were on one of Munch's better day's he'd probably say something like: "The Geniality of the artwork lies in the Thought and the Act, not in the Result. The Thought caused the Act, and I did it. The work itself is of little importance." But, Munch was a temperemental man so he might have been livid.

And it wasn't exactly the only example of The Scream ("Skrik"), as there are several other versions made by Munch around the world. Still, I wish the thieves all possible good luck in selling the best-known image in the western world without being found out :)

I was wondering why the largest Norwegian newspaper was running a story on the (supposedly) imminent release of Elite4, as the pages haven't changed a bit since they released that dog-demo (about 2002?)

Now I see the same story, with the same lack of content on slashdot. What's up, nothing happening out there?

I think I'll go back to playing with worldwind or celestia (google them, you lazy person), and stop hoping for a remake of a once-great-but-sadly-mothballed-franchise.

And will you all stop using worldwind so I can get the server to respond!?

So, the Genesis MIBs have it, then. Very reassuring.
