unless of course maybe MSFT has a patent on that technique for windows mobile phones and google doesn't want to run afoul of it. Or maybe Google found out too many developers weren't playing by the rules laid out.
instead of whining why don't you find out why google pulled a feature. it is either because it was only popular for a small group, someone threatened them with a patent, or it was being abused.
I bet you have an 8 player and a carberator too. As electronic fuel injection is for wimps.(/sarcastic)
Meredeces is one of the few companies selling cars with radar modified cruise control. If you don't know what it is and what it does and how it works. When your car starts slowing down by itself oneday you can cause an accident. Just that feature changing a basic tool you use regularly requires training. If you are to stupid to understand why you shouldn't be laughing.
Merecedes was the firstcar company to ship air bags standard. If you want to see what will be in the next decades ever one elses vehicles look at Mercedes. I follow them not because I can afford one but because ford and nissian will soon be duplicating those features.
Since when did solar flares change tides and throw debries around to cause massive flooding, and random destruction.
If a major flare hit. Sure gps would fail but major diasters would be relativly limited. It would be more like the northeast blackout of 2003 as opposed to Katrina. People stuck in elevators. Minor traffic accidents, maybe a ship or two run aground.
Also the areas affected would be dependant on the current tilt of the earth and which side is facing the sun as it hit. The other half would be mostly unaffected.
At my work we have both. a closed mac address limited, use WPA keys to gain access. This dumps traffic right onto the VPN, with it's own inernal DNS severs, and traffic management( some websites are blocked etc)
But we also have an open access unsecured AP that uses the local ISP DNS servers, and never touches the closed network. This is for salesmen to gain internet access when they visit. There is usually range limitation on that point as well. I ofen see this type of setup at places that offer free wifi with their services. One closed network for themselves, and one open one for guests.
As for assisin's creed there are at least 500,000 people who won't buy it but are in teh game developers targeted demographic. 18-25 year old males, who like this that go boom. The US military doesn't supply their soldiers with a constant internet connection. Therefore any game that requires it will automatically fail for them.
someone had an article on this very game and topic recently. things like that need to be trumpeted very loudly.
if you can't manage 2 nines on a an IBM mainframe your doing it wrong to begin with what makes you think they can do with something vastly more complicated as a massive windows deployment.
really? let me check my iphone which i have dropped onto reinforced concrete no less than 5 times. Nope not a scratch. twice from heights of 12 feet. A particular ladder at work can be awkward. The phone has dropped out of my pocket a couple of time there.
no scratches in the glass, no cracks, just a small nick in the corner of the black back.
Also all touch panels are either glued to the top of the glass, or to the bottom of the glass. that keeps them in place. Only low quality ones aren't attached.
Indeed that is why they are do this at 4k. most current FS's use a 4k file as it's base cluster size. By updating the sector size to match that of the average cluster anyways, they litterally cut down the size of the required ECC by 8. You can take two drives of the same physical characteristics and by increasing the sector size to 4k you gain hundreds of megabytes on the average 100 gigabyte drive.
I do. while only 12 years I have tax forms from 1998 in PDF format that open just fine. I efiled those taxes too.
Of course I worried about that 8 years ago, and switched all my files out of excel wnd word formats to text, rtf, and at the time OpenOffice. Now they are in ODF. Since ODF and PDF formats are easy to ready by many programmers, and thus open. Emails are stored in mbox. All of it is stored in multiple locations, with encryption(and decryption software) used as needed.
I moved all my data because i was tired of being tied to any one platform. I can access everything i have electronically on all three platforms now.
health is care is broken when doctors would rather take less in cash than file a claim. I know. for up until recently I was one of those 46 million. They wanted $900 a month out of a healthy single male, because I worked for a small company that couldn't cover benefits on their own. Between that and the annual 8-15% rate hikes I couldn't afford it.
My new company is still small however it is much larger, and the rates are more reasonable, however it is still expensive.
Oh and those dinners are why health care costs so much. every one of those dinners is one less month someone else can't get health insurance as the rates go up another 10% every year.
Maybe if health insurance wasn't about making money for private jets and was instead about saving lives and helping people we wouldn't be in such a mess.
that is normal for politics though. What is needed is term limits so they stop thinking it is a job, and start thinking it is more like the responsibility that it should be.
.5. Call up your local congressman and say youhave to leave the country to get health care as he doesnt care about the people he represents.
Seriously the reason one in six americans don't have coverage is based on the lasttime congress tried to straighten up healthcare. I fully expect the republicans to screw it up thistime too.
if what you say is true then, the school has one instance of turning on the webcam legitimately. however other students are also reporting that their webcams would turn on at random. Some kids got so paranoid about it they put tape over the lenses. If someone at the school ever turned one camera on without a good reason, the hole setup becomes flawed.
I didn't say i blamed them. Piracy is and always will be an economic problem. A somali Pirate works for say 1 year, attacks a half a dozen ships captures one and his cut out of the bounty of several million is ~$100,000 dollars. it is the kind of money many in the USA wish they were making. The best part is if you are attacked and can't get away you put down your weapons, they capture you feed you better than you have eaten in months, and set you free.
as I said piracy is an economic problem. If taking a freighter hostage earns you more money easier than fishing in water polluted and over fished by others then people will go for it. An intelligent solution would be to setup fish farms under Somali control and to buy the product from them at current market price, People will go for the legitimate option if given a fair chance. it must be fair though.
And when crime goes unpunished because the cult has control of significant money and land areas what is the proper response? Send an arrest warrant? What happens when the law in that country allows him to go unpunished?
There are really very few international laws.
So what can you do to punish those responsible for cross border crime? Do you know what happens when a naval frigate captures somali pirates right now? They ask them a couple of questions, feed them and release them safely to shore. Why because it is okay to commit piracy in Somali.
When there is no law only lawlessness remains. in the borders between countries it is without law.
The school denies Misuse, however they have photographic evidence of a child committing inappropriate behavior in the child's bedroom.
Therefore the School has already committed a misuse of said camera's. The real question is why hasn't the school fired the people involved. there was no evidence of any laptops being stolen therefore the system shouldn't have been turned on to begin with. The only reason the camera's were turned on would be for misuse.
So the school district is lying to cover themselves. They could get out of this much easier if they simply fired a couple of people and blamed those directly responsible, and their bosses for the policy.
So use a stylus they make them for such screens. however you can't use three stylus's at the same time. however if you have menus you can't work without a stylus then that is a fault of the designer of the interface. The touchscreen windows desktop is about as touch friendly as plugging a mouse into a Unix or dos command line. Sure if you load the right app it works, but it is useless for the majority of the time.
why can't it be the simple two dimensional mouse input that is flawed?
a mouse is only good for X, y and targets. a multi point touchscreen is good for x,y coordinates many times over. I take it you have never really used a decent multi touch device before? Windows tablets don't count as the interface is still the same desktop Interface. Touch screens need something different.
Besides Flash uses 70% of both my cores on my macbook. using just one flash based game drains my battery down to 1.5 hours of use, instead of 4 of just basic web surfing. and 10.1? yea that is what I am running now for flash. I can't imagine what it would do to my iphone which has a much smaller battery. of course Adobe is just like MSFT The next version will cure all woes, is more secure, faster, and still has all the same bugs as the original.
Apple may have alternative motives about revenue streams. However things like hover menus can be modified easily enough with CSS, and browser detection. Changes that would work better with all touch screen devices. unlike flash were adobe only supports certain features, and the OSX and Linux versions lag behind the windows version by a year or so feature wise, and 3-4 years speed wise. If Adobe doesn't want to provide proper support to Mac users why should they support adobe?
um OLED's aren't cheaper to manufacture than LCD's. They will be when full production runs can get going however, the blue problem, and actually mass manufacturing them have proven to be far harder than press release like to say.
It took a good 5 years in LCD's mass manufacturing before dead pixels weren't common.
depends. AT&T least uses some sort of NAT system. every couple of hours your phone gets a new IP to work from. I know this as I let my phone check my gmail account and when i get a message log in to gmail using my work computer. however gmail shows the last login ip address as one from AT&T it isn't constant and changes regularly.
Also there was that incident with AT&T and facebook, where AT&T was sending the wrong pages to the wrong phones.
unless of course maybe MSFT has a patent on that technique for windows mobile phones and google doesn't want to run afoul of it. Or maybe Google found out too many developers weren't playing by the rules laid out.

It can if you upgraded it properly. about $50 at your local electrical supply house. They may or may not have them in stock depending on area.
However the fuses at the poles should take the worst of it and they are a lot harder to bypass.
I bet you have an 8 player and a carberator too. As electronic fuel injection is for wimps.(/sarcastic)

my insurance, account statements, and tax forms are all in PDF's.
I do have some paper copies as proofs, but only a handful of actual paper is needed for most of that stuff.
I do. while only 12 years I have tax forms from 1998 in PDF format that open just fine. I efiled those taxes too.

funny that is exactly what happened between OS X releases 10.2, 10.3 10.4, and 10.5 though the amount of speed increase was slightly less.
on linux it varies between distro's, and gui uses.
And other articles say the exact opposite.

because IE 6 compatibility mode is buggy and doesn't work very well?
not that I am complaining it isn't something I want MSFT to fix. IE 6 needs to die.

um I have never seen a bullet resistant camel before.
That is the big difference between this and real animals the ability to survive(or easily repaired) after being shot
