    You mean like the punk haircut and the punk bands? Of course they'll take the logo and be commercialized, they're all just looking for the same thing, belonging. Even if it costs their individuality, they will do it.

    Linux is not popular, Windows is on 90% of machines. Windows is "unstable", Linux is pretty solid. I'm an avid Windows fan but i feel better knowing military grade uses Linux on the field. Who needs DirectX in combat anyway? Quake isn't considered combat tututut hehe

    How about including InfraRed Priority, much like the priorities already existing for different vehicles. Ambulances first, police second, then firemen, and all other vehicles. Im sure i forget some other important vehicle but still, would be nice if implemented correctly.

    I bet this version will be called Windows FX, it's short and snapy. Alliance with nVIDIA/AMD? Wouldn't be surprised. But i don't understand why the poster says it's vaporware or it's "very well timed". Timed for what, Halloween? Mandrake 9.3?

    BTW to all major corporations, your codenames sucks usually. Whistler, Longhorn, Applebred??? Try something better. I think it was Transmeta who used "Titan" or the like? Now that's nice.

    Damn you put the finger on that one pretty solidly. Kudos to you. I never feel like actively searching for the world's content or the like because i can feel when devs don't care about their worlds.

    I remember the first time i read the "The Elder Scrolls : Arena" side-quest-like books with stories in them. Now, those guys loved their world, and it showed. Let's see if Square Enix also loves Vana'diel.

    No it's not. Mother nature is the best at this, it's called natural selection. Remember the hunters that had bad vision? They are dead because they couldn't aim their spears properly. Now that we've fucked things up and kept all the crappy genes (i include some of mine in this), we're stuck. We will remain deeply flawed, and will never be able to becomes as Gods.

    E-Mail is not meant to be a fast way of communication. So what if the mail takes an hour to arrive? Even if E-Mail took 24 hours to be delivered, it would *still* be better than snail mail. That doesn't mean you don't have to fight off spammers however.

    Now if only they could work on the reliability of E-Mail, there's always an E-Mail you send that doesn't get received every once in a while, too often if you ask me.

    You think that 3 partitions is a lot? I use a "standard" C: for my system, D for my Data, adding another one doesn't seem too much. If you had to split it in 5, maybe I'd say that's too much.

    50GB/125GB/125GB sounds like a good partitioning scheme to me. Hell you could even mirror the two 125 GBs software wise.

    And also, all HDD barriers have been broken, so if there really is a 128GB barrier it's just a matter of time until it's fixed by a BIOS update. Remember the good old time MS-DOS couldn't see past 30 Megs on a 40 Meg HDD?
