Strict penalties for massive spaming (invasion of privacy? illegal excessive use of bandwidth?) an make an example out of these 180 people so others would be afraid to step in to fill the void.
The.45 theory sounds like a good place to start =)
Good thinking, counter sue them into droping the case!
I'm going to sue you for sueing me for sueing you to sue me...
Imagine the lawer fees on that one!
No, it is new with this release.
I only had a minute to try it this morning, but seems OK. If you use the point2Play, don't download the Binaries...the app does it for you and Point2Play won't work until you do. It will download the.tgz and install so using the RPMs or whatnot are kind of a waste.
Wasn't that one of Stephen Hawkins theory? That the machines will advance much faster then Humans and become superior, so the Humans need to start enhancing themselves geneticly now so we won't lose?
That's the one, he injected himself with the 'bots because he found out he had cancer. The 'bot were designed to 'fix flaws' and remove the cancer, turned him into a superman...then a freak.
Put him a tank of water for 6 hours and the 'bots made him gills, electricuted him to kill the bots but the remaining ones made him resistant to electricity...
Possible to of been a Twilight Zone also...
If the materials from Nanobots are harmfull, make Nanobots that will seek out this harmfull material that are hypoalergenic to clean up and remove the bad stuff
Not a bad machine, very nice job with it. But why install Samba Server? Server would only be required for Windows -> Linux, Samba-client is for Linux -> Windows...which sounds like all it needs.
I guess if you are going to be sharing the files with other system on your network that makes since, but I didn't see a mention of this...did I miss it?
Does it matter? MS has been using open-source code for...umm...ever. Remember when zlib had security problems and needed to be updated?
MS put out the same notice for some of their stuff also... The great thing about closed source is, nobody has to know that there is some open-source in there
Where exactly is this rock that you've been hiding under?
Somewhere between the 4th and 5th planets in your solar system...lots of good rocks to hide under there! Thanks for the tip though, I haven't followed Intel very closely in a while and the news with them lately is just when another employee of theirs goes to jail on terrorist charges =)
Amazing...even will have a version for the full 64bit (not using the 32bit compatability...much)
I can't find any information if Win2k3 has support for Intels Itanium 64bit processor...You'd think it would considering MS and Intel spend every night in bed together
It still is like that, that is what the "f" is for...force without asking conformation.
The "i" would be useful on a UNIX system where the default is to assume you know what your doing and do it. The "i" in most UNIX will force the interactive mode, but most Linux distros I've tried have rm default to use the -i
That is odd since RH doesn't ship with mplayer and it needs to be installed seperatly;)
I use the apt-get for Red Hat from Freshrpm.net which when you apt-get mplayer it will install all the decss and navdvd...which would give you DVD playback and is required to install mplayer
also that server seems to be maxed out right now for some reason;)
Next thing you know SCO will be sueing Microsoft for having a command line interface in their OS...

That would just scare off the new people and the ones that have been around for a while would be very few.
You want to make people like you before you can take their money. Once you have their money...you suddenly don't care about them as much
Didn't they cancel the Mac port after they realized they were over their head with the Linux port?
20fps? What are you running...an ATi card? You know they have drivers available so it will use the 3D acceleration

I saw this movie...I think it was called Demolition Man
The victim then made a loud noise like the crack of a whip, as a few fragments exited his or her flesh and dropped through the sound barrier in air.
Sounds like one of the parties I went to in High School.
I saw that on The Outer Limits

Problem solved!

Only if the "evil bit" is set 'false'
Intel chip delayed due to a flaw...like that never happens, suprised they didn't ship it anyway like with the PIII's
Oh wait...that was a 'feature'
Almost, I pictured something like a tea kettle...if your CPU overheats, it warns you with a load whistling sound out of the case

I thought this was available last year for download...maybe the only real change has been the license?
Just imagine if the only 64-Bit servers you could buy were non-MS based...
They have been non-MS based for years, I run a 5 year old HP-UX 11.0 64-bit server at my job.
64bit RISC based processors have been available for about 10 years now (just a guess, maybe longer)

Linux already supports it...has for over 6 months now
