It'd become very easy to ddos a competitor using spam. Just be sure that the spam advertises something the competitor doesn't offer, because you don't want to accidentally give them increased sales.
For me, I lost interest in Ms. Portman when I saw that picture of her scratching her butt while on the cell phone. Truly iconic. Does anybody have a link to this?
You need to download a third party mod to access the game. It's no different to the user than it would be if the mode was the game. The mod even adds nude skins, not part of the original game. Rockstar can't control that.
This study is a little misleading, because different studies get different amounts of exposure. The most amazing and unbelievable studies probably make it into the news the most. You'd have to weight the studies by exposure to accurately tell readers the probability that the next study they read will be nonsense. The 80/20 rule probably applies here.
The Internet Archive has received two DMCA exemptions from the US Copyright Office, but only for archiving copy protected software. I don't think they needed one to archive the web.
They say the Internet Archive violated their robots.txt. For all we know, their server may have failed to return the text file when it was requested. Or maybe they made a typo, like so many people find out after they claim their robots.txt was violated.
However it happened, you can't expect the Internet Archive to not mess up from time to time. They work with so much data they can't be expected to make anything more than a best effort to filter out the unauthorized pages. The archive's importance is recognized by many, including the US Copyright Office, who granted them a DMCA Exemption to copy software. I suppose not even the Copyright Office thought they needed an exemption to archive the web.
In this case, the archive was used to gather evidence of wrongdoing. This is like suing witnesses for telling the truth, because the truth was bad for your case, and confidential for that reason.
Less english. We speak english. Focus more on effective use of language rather than spending over a decade on things we already know or don't care to know. Spelling and grammar are almost irrelevant in the grand scheme of things. More high level math & science. Kids hate repetitive math, and need to understand calculus. More economics. Less US history. More world history.
It was way too expensive when it shipped, and is still too expensive. Even if I wanted to buy one, how do I know it'll work well and reliably for our needs? Most people have never seen an Itanium. Commodity processors get a lot more public use, run cooler, and are better supported by most software. After reading some other comments, I'd sleep easier with Celerons powering our servers. Besides, most performance problems can't be fixed by throwing a faster cpu at them.
I tried some variations such as having them stop eating when the population of their prey gets too low. They still manage to extinct themselves eventually. If I get past Z, it just keeps going into higher characters.
Iraqi cancer rates expected to triple.
Their canvas, svg, css3, and e4x support is looking pretty good.

That's just sick. It looks like she's in up to her wrist. I hope it's a fake.

Wikipedia has information about everything, even the internet's most complete Harry Potter 6 spoiler.
I was going to post "they didn't even talk about hot grits," but decided not to after seeing this.
The old Atari Jaguar was a highly unsuccessful first mover.
If Tatooine was as big as Jupiter and orbited 3 suns. You must be thinking of the gas giant that causes the eclipse in Pitch Black.

Those hard drives look like they could fry at any moment. He has them in tight stacks of 4.
A file server's processor only needs to be fast enough. Anything faster will have almost zero effect on performance.

If you not good enough to compete with the public domain, then it's time to rethink your career.

Just use hamming codes and periodically correct the errors. It wouldn't be the first time we've had memory that needed to be refreshed on an interval.

For a moment there I thought I was looking at a new function name. No offense intended.
Is that Claria isn't the only malware to get this exception?
I saw nothing offensive in that interview, except maybe BusinessWeek quoting him out of context for the article's title.
What about women?
