Let's say, any modification of game's dynamics (and also objects' properties) beyond what is defined by the game's rules is cheating. Of course, in today's games most of stuff is not defined in any formal "Rules"-type of documents, they're just part of the game. Like the walls you keep mentioning -- if the walls in the original game are not transparent, then making them transparent to gain an unfair advantage is cheating and should not be done. Of course, if you make a game, where all the players are ensured to make walls transparent, then it's just a new version of game's rules.
In EVE Online there is also an equivalent to this "Buy it now" button, called "Buyout". Auction initializer has an option to specify a price of an item, which a buyer would have to pay in order to buy it without any bidding.
Fifth Amendment protections apply wherever and whenever an individual is compelled to testify. The U.S. Supreme Court has ruled that the privilege against self-incrimination applies whether the witness is in Federal or state court (see Malloy v. Hogan, 378 U.S. 1 (1964)), and whether the proceeding itself is criminal or civil (see McCarthy v. Arndstein, 266 U.S. 34 (1924)).
Well, I have to say, these rumors are pretty close to truth, since Russian TV channels have been engaged in a similar informational war with local (Estonian) media. The problem is that many Russians in Estonia are watching Russia's pro-government channels and listen to their arguing pretty closely.
You got it all wrong!:)
But well, since nobody here apparently reads neither Estonian, nor Russian-language sources, you can bullshit them as much as you like...:)
The Soviet soldier, standing on Tõnismäe, was indeed a symbol of Soviet regime for some, but has been left untouched until now because it was a World War II memorial and also a place of a mass grave. Because of its nature (it's depicting a Soviet soldier after all), it became a place of political demonstrations by two extremist opposing forces: Russian pro-soviets, with some younger "national-bolshevik" exteremists and Estonian nationalists with a mix of Estonian younger neo-nazis. It was perceived as a threat to social stability and thus it was decided to exhumate the remnants of those buried there and move them to a grave, together with the monument.
Well, my guess is, if it was ever needed for anyone to acquire a nuclear bomb, they already would do. Because during the last 15 years they were simply losing time by not trying to acquire it.
So, my guess is that terrorists just don't need any nuclear weapons to commit terror. In fact, it's much easier for them to keep pace with suicide bombers, because it instills much more terror into citizen, than anything like a nuclear bomb... Nobody really knows what a nuclear bomb's effect is, but everyone knows, how does it look when a couple of suicide bombers explode themselves in a crowded Metro station, concert or a school (yes, I'm speaking of events that took place in Russia specifically). And even more so, while knowing where those two missing nuclear warheads might be situated in is hard, trying to guess, where will suicide bombers make their attack again is even more so.
Where are my mod points?..:( I'd definitely mod it as +5 Insightful. There was already a talk about it, and indeed what the Iran's leader said wasn't quite what the Western news outlets reported it was...
Well, if you at least read TFA across, you'd noticed, that some of the students did manage to:
lock the doors
close the doors and keep them shut, even probably knowing, that if the shooter starts shooting through it, the one holding the door will get hit -- but at least the shooter won't be able to pass it and kill everybody
act as if they were killed or wounded
jump out of windows to escape
So, my understanding is that the people inside did have some time to think (rather than just running around in panic) and do something more or less meaningful in such a situation. And if anyone in each class room had a firearm with them, there would be a pretty good chance, that the massacre would end quicker, than it did.
Let me explain. Uncle Sam spends millions of dollars on army training, because:
1. there are thousands of soldiers to train
2. each soldier gets a lot of equipment to learn to handle, not just light firearms (think Navy, Air Force etc.)
3. good army training is far far more than just teaching you to handle your M16 (or any other light firearm)
Question: why do people run around hysterically, when someone is firing?.. Why not lie down and stay quiet? Find cover? God damn, even hiding behind a door can save your ass, because shooter suddenly doesn't see you to shoot effectively at you. You get a better chance to survive, don't you?
There is no such thing as opposite frequency. There is a thing like counterphase, though. So, noise cancellation works by emitting noise of the same frequency, but in a counterphase.
Well, despite the meters of steel and armor the military usually set themselves into, they are *used* to feel themselves vulnerable. The problem is to define *how much* vulnerable they will be by using Microsoft software, not *if* they are going to be vulnerable at all.
It doesn't matter how many measures they agreed on, the resolution was not completely agreed on nevertheless. The 18th measure was directly connected with the invasion of Iraq, wastn't it?
And I guess, USA invaded Iraq because they wanted to take over all the oil money from Iraq, right?:)
What's so bad about giving Iran anti-aircraft missiles? Or civil nuclear energy technology (not weapons-grade)? Oh, and why does NATO put ABM in the Eastern Europe?
This *is* going to be fun, really. But it's also going to be interesting to see, who's going to do the first blow!;)

And there is another question to ask: does it run Linux?
Sorry, they're not as dumb as you think. That will be 0x0100.
Yeah... :) I only realized it, when I've hit the "Submit" button, unfortunately... :(
Modded you insightful, because I've bought a man purse for exact same reason: I've got too much stuff to carry it in my pockets, especially in summer!
Imagine how pissed they are at Microsoft!

Hey, it's Tallinn, not "Talin". Where the hell did you get this weird name from? :)
Well, I have to note that in Estonia they do too, occasionally...
Wow, not that's bloat! :) At my home, I've got my PC that does all that... :)
Note, that it's "to release" in English. :)

Um, Russia is a region of high instability?.. =8-) Wow, that's big news! Why haven't I heard about it, living 200 km from its border? :))

Sorry, couldn't resist, but *YOUR* oversimplification does betray your ignorance, too... ;)

That's exactly why it's funny!
People do make mistakes, but still, Kelvin was right about the absolute nature of temperature, wasn't he?
