Ive been in the QA field since 97.... no matter the complexity of the application, there are countless bugs, defects, etc.... in fact development in most cases welcomes the more found, hence the more fixed. There is a book on Amazon called the Art of Software Testing (http://www.amazon.com/Art-Software-Testing-Second /dp/0471469122/sr=8-1/qid=1157645733/ref=pd_bbs_1/ 103-3570097-7021412?ie=UTF8&s=books), which states no matter how many defects are found, it's probably not even half of what could be found with plenty of people testing an application. With an application like a browser where millions of users become testers of sort, this is bound to happen. So this doesnt bother me, as hopefully one would think the vulnerabilities and major issues will be fixed....
I couldnt deal with paying $50 or whatever for it after rebates, and then having all these bloated applications bundled with it, taking most of the cpu/ram resources on top of it. Plus the fact it seems Norton doesnt work as intended anymore made me switch over to AntiVir http://www.freeav.com/ Maybe not the best, but it runs quietly in the background, updates once a day and seems pretty efficient for me.
If anything this law suit may make prices go up due to the damn legal fees!
It seems most of the defacing is about individuals

I use wikipedia for mostly static articles, such as within astronomy, science in general, or human history/geneology. Those for the most part have a lot of useful information. I research individuals in my home town library, as if I read wikipedia for them, I usually get a chuckle out of the information about them which is posted.
Tie-Fighter took X-Wing series into a wonderful direction. I still from time to time use the DOS emulator to load up my old cd of the collector's edition!

This game alone changed my gaming habits! Countless nights after the bar a friend and I would go out onto pubs and frag or try to frag all drunk! Or would just dial each other for 1 on 1 DM!
Playing on one machine, for the same price as a dvd? I think I will pass.... We all have to reformat from time to time, and sometimes forget to back up data or miss some important info... Unless the utilities out there that can convert the files into dvd format arent hindered so that I can burn it to a dvd, then buying the movie off bittorent isnt for me. I can buy a dvd in the store and play it on any player and not just mine alone.
Look at most games from a movie franchise, outside of Star Wars and you see the games die or dont do well. Matrix is the biggest one, but even Star Trek (lack of new series/episodes). I have a feeling there may be a big interest, but once the hype is over, I see everyone going back to WoW or whatever the next WoW is.
I wouldnt want their in game BS currency for using my credit card. I would rather them pay me on my credit card for earning the gold, or farming it. Wait I can do that now just by selling out to those farming sites.
I loved Dark Age of Camelot, played it about 3 years religiously till time constraints kicked in. Hate work interfering with fun, but hey that's life. Anyway I feel Mythic will lose its identity of making quality games, and well we all know what happens when EA (Assimilate Everything) gets a hold of something:(
In Dark Empire, which is set shortly after Timothy Zahn's trilogy featuring Grand Admiral Thrawn, Palpatine returns from the dead in the form of a spiritually-possessed clone body and successfully turns Luke Skywalker to the dark side of the Force. Palpatine is killed many times throughout the series, always returning in a new clone body. However, he meets his "final death" at the end of the series. Luke is turned back to the light side by his sister, Princess Leia.
In the almost 8 years that I have been in the IT field as a software quality assurance engineer its been a rocky road of peaks and valleys. After the dot com crash, and after Y2K things got real bad in my field which was blamed on outsourcing, but that wasn't the only reason. Company's budgets got tighter, projects got canned etc.
The past 3 years I have been laid off once each year between 1 month and last year was laid off 8 months! It was hard on me but somehow pulled through it. Things do seem to be picking up again, as for once my contract ends next Friday but I pick up at a new location April 3rd. SO that worked out for once, and also had been getting a lot more calls and emails from various recruiters.
That said however, outsourcing will always be a threat especially for companies who want a lower bottom line, but outsourcing isnt really to blame more than the companies themselves in the end.
Might get as dark as the New Jedi Order series of books where basically the New Republic is in tatters and millions/billions of beings are murdered ruthlessly by the Yuuzhan Vong invaders. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/New_Jedi_Order

A day in the bible according to god, could be like hundreds of millions of years to us.
There's already a baseball MMORPG not a bad one either...

One would think we could get there a lot faster than 2020... I mean it took less than 10 years to do it in the 60s!
With technology we have now, I think it's too long of a wait. But oh well, horray moon!

You have a point, however George penned all 3 Indiana stories (each with someone else collaborating), Steven ONLY directed them.

If I remember correctly, GTA 4 (IV) is Vice City...
San Andreas is really 5 (V).
Any NEW GTA whatever the name would technically be 6 or 7 (if you count Liberty City Stories).

Looks very promising and the background information isnt the usual, orcs/dragons. Its a few different planets and such, with exotic creatures.

Anyone else have thoughts?
Quaoar is different...

Says it is a more circular orbit much like all the planets except Pluto which is eliptical and off the plane as well as about 1200km diameter.
