    Hmmm... a seven ounce serving of espresso??? as the normal espresso cup is only 2.5 oz... then the dose of caffeine per cup is way lower than other servings of "normal" coffee... and is only just above that for instant tea...

    watching on tv last night on the local section of the news...

    It's not a hoax, there really are three heads and most of three bodies merged on that animal... but only two forelegs but I was unable to determine exactly how many rear legs there were... but then again frog's bums don't exactly appeal to me either...

    This now means that the hood can now become a true structural component and form part of the crushable structure for the protection of the passengers. Beforehand, the car would have to rely heavily on the two front sides of the car for the crushable elements leaving it vulnerable to a central impact with a large bollard which could drive the engine back into the passenger compartment with relatively very little energy absorbtion into the crush zones.

    this is NOT the place for posting your woes... in fact, one would suspect you of deliberately trolling... if you do have problems with 2.6 then the correct place for wailing about it is via the kernel bugzilla system or else your distros' own mailing lists...

    someone comes out with a concept that makes your razor blade obsolete... the same thing has happened with Kodak and Polaroid... they only made their cameras to sell film, paper and chemicals. After all, you buy one camera but buy lots of film and chemicals/paper (when you get it processed even if with a one hour lab)... they just didn't react to the new paradigm that rendered complex proprietary film and chemical processes obsolete...

    IP should exist, but only for a strictly defined time period before it goes into the public domain. Seven years is plenty of time for money to be made off a film, book or idea... if you can't make enough money in seven years then it can't have been that good anyway... Seven years would force companies to be far more innovative and not just sit on their vast IP portfolio milking it forever...

    If you want an example of bad practice... just look at how EMI are coming down on DJ Danger Mouse for his remix of Jay-Z's Black Album and The Beatles White Album... they've had plenty of time to milk revenue from the Beatle's work... in fact most of the revenue now doesn't go to the former Beatles at all but to service Michael Jackson's Bank Of America Loan...

    forgot to hit the market with high quality photo inks and papers for use in printers until it was too late...

    the printer manufacturers got their act together first... after all... when faced with the choice of the right paper and cartridge for your photos, you go for the printer manufacturer's first...

    yeah... pose works fine on linux... it just doesn't support os5 though...
    "The Emulator software does not include ROM images. It is like a computer without an operating system. Also note that the emulator emulates 68K devices and thus runs ROM images through OS 4.x. For testing on OS 5 based devices see the Palm OS 5 Simulator page."

    For OS5 development purely in Linux, I have to synch my code into my own Zire71 and pray every time... thank heavens for programs like backupbuddyVFS

    Mostly, I keep another box on my local network running win2k so I can load my code straight into the OS5 simulator. That situation really bugs me... and I hope that the OS6 simulator gets released in a Linux version.

    It would probably pay me to get into java on the Palm as that would widen my market to include other devices that support the IBM J2Micro Environment.

    I suppose there's no hope of them giving us a POSE client for running on Linux then if they've ditched palm desktop for the mac...

    They're going to lose me to Linux based PDAs at this rate... I'm already p'd off at having to keep one box with windows on for running POSE and the OS5 development kit to develop OS5 apps on as it is...
