I have a trailer that couples to my bike for when I do my shopping (and also when I go cycle camping/touring). What does annoy me though are the stupid barriers in some cycle paths that block my trailer...
and we've already got perfectly bio-degradable carrier bags in use. Tesco ones turn into small fragments after a few months, even with no exposure to light...
those caught texting while driving are dragged out of their vehicles and summarily executed at the roadside and left there with a warning to others sign...
Kidding, but they'll only start behaving when their personal risk is high...
It doesn't help that Hollywood still has people using hand held units while driving and they don't show the consequences (ie that driver having a crash)
that's probably because the compiler used to compile the application has got the code to check for benchmark tests and optimisation for it. This is old hat...
infringements issued on the basis that your car passed a red light: no camera deployments required and no defence.
GPS isn't accurate enough for that... otherwise we wouldn't be going to the expense of building a wide area augmentation system to provide good enough GPS for Cat I autolanding...
the law as written has "intent of using it to conceal drugs for trafficking.". That's what they have to prove intent of... so even if I had installed a secret compartment in my car, they would have to prove beyond reasonable doubt that it was made with the intent of using it to conceal drugs for trafficking.
Mine is for concealling high value items when on the road. Damn sight safer than hotel rooms or schlepping it around with me.
I would like to see software to become a proper discipline with registered technicians and chartered engineer type qualifications, the Chartered Software Engineers would be the ones who would do the design, the software technicians would be the ones getting their hands dirty coding or maintaining things.
I drive past 6, yes 6 fscking ANPR cameras every day. All set up by our wonderful police as a crime fighting measure to cut down on organised crime and to give the crims nowhere to hide. Doesn't fscking work, the crims use stolen cars or cloned number plates for a job.
Meanwhile, there's a massive amount of data available for trawling on any numberplate that comes to their attention. Security services want to know where you've been? Easy, they just do a search against your plate... Apparently retention of data has been justified by them having "solved" murders by examining the movements of the suspect to bust their alibi...
he did give information on how to completely remove them, specifically stating that you needed to "root" your phone (giving a link to how to do it) and then gave a link to an app which allows you to really remove the crapware after having rooted your phone...
even better, mandate a standard size and power interface so anybody can produce an infotainment system to put in the space like they have been doing with car radio/cassettes for decades... you'll note that the aftermarket caters for car radio/cd players that are a simple drop in replacement...
they still won't cut money and arms to Israel and military adventures that only benefit Israel... all that money being wasted rampant military spending and wars in the Mid East and just who benefits? Certainly not your fellow Americans, just the one percent of the one percenters and their Israeli handlers.
Even that can break, but the tablets should come with cases that can prevent the screens being cracked while being carried in satchels, backpacks and dufflebags etc. Or when the student lumps his books and tablet into a pile and carries that pile...
no, he'll just claim there's some been hidden and held back... it should really be up to HIM to prove that the weapons have been held back and not made available for destruction...
they could at least have put up a static page and giving the link to a mirror, all I got was "Connecting" followed by a time out and Down For Everyone Or Just Me stated it was down for everyone...

Best time to strike, right before the Christmass rush... such a pity that the neighbouring Amazon units are picking up the German demand though...
