Something I think I'd like to see is for someone to creat a Mozilla sidebar that plays/streams using iTunes. So I can surf using FireSomething and listen to my playlists at the same time. Could be good stuff. But the thing I would really like to see is a simple, easy solution to playing.aac format files in Linux, and getting iTMS to work in said platform. It'll happen, sooner or later, but I guess I'm impatient.
Anyone who has written even a simple game under Windows should know the basics of COM and how it works. Ditto for anyone who has done basic coding in C/C++/C# for Windows (and those who use VB for advanced coding instead of using it for a macro/prototyping tool). So quite a few developers are going to read that and chuckle. Of course, that was probably written by some marketing weenie who doesn't know any better.
I, for one, welcome our old rodent overlords. They're responsible for our wonderful planet, and if they want to perform experiments on us, I have absolutely no problem with it.
I live in San Diego, where they used to base the dolphins. They were always very careful about security because of the violent threats they kept recieving.
Cool idea. I, on the other hand, am entertaining grandiose dreams of alarm clocks, coffee makers, stereos, and microwave ovens. The limits are endless. Yes, it CAN run Linux;)
I'm in rural San Diego county. Three channels: Fox, ABC, and CBS. Fox looks like a snowstorm, and ABC looks almost as bad. 66 channels reserved for wireless sounds like a great idea, especially since almost everyone uses cable for television-rabbit ears are generally a thing of the past.
This is why every worm should be released under the GPL. Then independant worm enthusiasts can verify the security of worm code and contribute patches and improvements to the author.
What I mean is that the people who use contraception won't have a lot of children, and therefore won't teach their children to use contraception. Should have explained that one better.
That's like saying that everyone who uses contraception will die out, because their existence is self-perpetuating. There will still be people using contraception 1-2 generations from now. And my bet is that there will still be screwed-up kids who have nothing better than beat the crap out of each other.
4,096 iTanium processors versus ~8,000 boxes sporting Pentium II, III, and 4 processors. But remember that the interest Google has is in disk access and redundacy, not complex mathematical computation. So it isn't configured as a 'supercomputer' per se.
But why did they use itanium processors? Were they acquiring parts before Opterons were availabel? Did they have a problem with Xeon processors? Or did they have too much cash lying around?
Your geek pass is hereby revoked. You forgot to start counting at zero!
Phhhht. My processor went plaid years ago.
But does the SDK work on a Mac? Because if it doesn't, Apple won't use it and I don't really blame them all that much.
Well, most of the themes and silly crap are done by independent developers, not the Moz team itself - they have more important things to do.

So, what's you IP address again?
Did he smell of elderberries?

Not only that, but authorities suspect that he may have killed Kenny. Gifs at eleven.
You know, the capacitors in a CRT monitor contain more than enough juice to kill a man. Just something to keep in mind...

Are you kidding, that was the best nap I had that whole semester!

Missed that when I previewed, I didn't mean to drop the zero...

I'm hoping we'll be using cold fusion by then, but unfortunately I doubt that will happen either.
Sometimes, the forces of good can turn evil on itself.
Hey, some of those emo artists out there really do need to feel loved, so why not?
Me personally, I think I'll rely on what I've always used to find music: Google.
