People doing military and spying jobs have a chance being murdered due to them doing not a really honorable jobs in the first place, live by the sword then die by the sword.
Nobody is forcing these people to do this instead more honorable jobs like teaching, there are enough other ways to spend live in a better fashion.
If they end up on lists that are not supposed to be leaked means they do a shitty job of their trade in the first place.
To be honest, I am not sympathetic to those people, no matter what side they are on, also the people that are supposed to keep those lists and documents secret did a shitty job and deserve to be compromised by what happened.

It's just a question of karma, everybody in this story deserved what happened to them.

If you install a Mozilla version in your user account by hand then the automatic update functionality works fine, the versions that come through the package manager are often outdated.

Of course they have to be more secure because they are installed system wide, that is the reason for being outdated it takes time to patch.

So they are 2 different concepts with the same product.

So we better make sure that there won't be instruments to enable that behaviour instead of trusting the judgement of mankind.

Poverty is what causes the dangerous variant of nationalism and bailing out banks and corporations is a part of what causes this poverty.

You need laws to even out the balance between citizens and corporations even if we know that corporations don't care about them, without laws you are not able to retroactively "get them" when they fucked up on purpose like Facebook is doing.
