I've been a Linux user since 1995. Respect me!:) I started out with slackware and Linux kernel 1.2.8. it took me ALL DAY to compile a kernel on my 386dx40
I doubt that will happen anytime soon because ipods use a 1.8" drive manufactured by Toshiba. And currently the largest 1.8" drive made by them is 30gigs and the largest 2" drive is 80gigs.
NO! NO! NO! Not Seattle Wireless TV, as in Seattle has Wireless TV. SeattleWireless is the name of the group. and they made a online TV show. You never heard of SeattleWireless? http://www.google.com/search?q=%22Seattle+Wireless %22
Both doors close on the case. There is a small hole at the bottom for the powercord and other cables.. The point is.. there is no fan sucking in dusty air.
I BIG advantage to this is.. IT WON'T GET FILLED WITH DUST!
Dust is a conductor of electricity.. too much dust can clog fans and make your computer act really strange. A big problem with on site retail network servers is.. nobody ever dusts them.. When I was working for CVS part of my kit was a can of air.. I used it all up the first day. So every store I went to I had to commission a can of air off the store shelf.. one day I was at a store that didn't have any cans of air left.. so I had to use a blowdryer.. Anyhow.. I think this case is great.. no little windows or any of that fun stuff.. just a nice sturdy case.. and it's from germany.. They do a pretty good job at making sturdy cars too.
My previous employer offered me a free cellphone but I declined. They were only going to give me 400 minutes. I have the Get More 3000 plan with t-mobile. It costs me $50 a month and I get 3000 anytime minutes! That's 100 minutes per day! I usually use about 2700 of them.
I used to have a Nokia 8290. TINY little phone. I came home from work to change clothes becaus I had been climbing around on rooftops setting up a 802.11b building to building wireless network. So I was in a rush to change/shower and get back to work. I threw me dirty clothes in the dryer and left to work. Once I got back to work and went to search for my cellphone because I used it to keep all my contacts, I realized it was missing. Then I realized where it was! It was probably mid spin cycle at home! So I left work and rushed home to see if I could save the phone. It was SOAKED, but very clean now. I took the thing apart.. every little peice. dried them off with a towel and let them lay on the counter top for a few days.. I put the sim card in my backup phone, a Nokia 3390, and it worked just fine.. I hated that 3390! There is no "Decline call" option when someone is calling you.. All you can do is turn off the phone! Anyways.. 3 days later I reassembled the 8290, swaped the sim card back into it.. and it worked just fine. Very clean too. This was 2 years ago and the phone is still in operation. A friend of mine has it now.
How about a device that allows you to take the pictures and then upload them from anywhere? The Nokia 3650 is a GSM 900/1800/1900 phone with a built in digital camera. The image resolution is only 640x480 but that is more than enough for a webpage. I beleive you can upload your images to a website on nokia.com where you friends and family can view them. Another nice feature about the phone is it has bluetooh. A bluetooth pda with a compact flash socket would be great for getting those high resolution images from your digital camera and you could just leave the phone in your pack and use it to connect to the internet to upload the photos. You can also upgrade the memory on the phone with a 64MB memory card.
Pricing products at 1 penny or 1 dollar less than a multiple of ten isn't a new thing. I don't see why this is an issue. Goto http://shop.yahoo.com/ and search for "shoes" or "pants" or "cdrom" MOST of the prices end in.99 How is Apple or Dell any different from any other retailer?
Here is an idea.. Whenever you get spam mail (the real kind that comes in your mailbox). Take those business reply mail envelopes and fill them with all the spam you can, and send it back. The heavier, the better. I have a few friends that do this. It helps out the postal service by giving them more money and it helps you to get your point across about the junk mailings.

Why not use an iPod? You can store more than just mp3s on these things. It charges off the firewire port. very small. and it plays music. :)
Oh yea.. Zoom player. That wouldn't play my streaming mpeg video from ffserver either. Seems the only player that will is mplayer.
I call that job security by windows insecurity.
It looks like SCO is being DOSed again.

How about just plain old shouting? Isn't that pretty low tech?
