If this blog site gets overwelming market share over the other free journal sites out there, google would have achieved it by the users signing up on their own free will. Internet Explorer's market share came when they started bundling it with the OS. Users didnt have to do anything except upgrade their OS and it would be there whether they wanted it or not.
You can get the original versions of 4,5 +6 on laserdisc (non boot legs) and copy them to dvd. The quality will be better than tape but it might cost you a bit since the laserdisc version has become a collectible. Otherwise I dont know... I prefer the original over the special edition too. The 'enhancements' just make the movie more aged.
by govt of taiwan I think he means the nationalist party as they had (more) control over china than the communist party before the war. But china always been in the UN as they helped form it.
unitednations.com The United Nations officially came into existence on 24 October 1945, when the Charter had been ratified by China, France, the Soviet Union, the United Kingdom, the United States and by a majority of other signatories. United Nations Day is celebrated on 24 October each year.
As a livejournal (but not AOhell) I know thats not possible becauses livejournal doesnt allow you to make your own page so you wouldn't be able to put that code in.
But I do remember reading the developer posting on a forum saying that he chose what he did because it was relatively fast to generate and compare file with.
hmm Isn't that how k-sig, built into Kazaa Lite K++, works, by tracking MD5 hashes so ppl get exactly the file they want.
Changing MD5 hashes on songs to avoid RIAA would also lessen the effectiveness of K-SIG. Trading hashes of know working files was one of the ways ppl on P2p avoided downloading those fake RIAA files.
10bux and free beer, that most people vote for the face and pyramids. I want to see a martian looking back at me through his telescope.
For an interesting read on the Face on Mars, I recommend the books by Graham Hancock. He doesn't actually say in his book that aliens built it or make any wild assumptions/conclusions but he does investigate it in a professional manner built solely on science and photographs and correspondence with reliable people working in NASA.
There are instruments that make easy work out of bending pipes. they ensure you get the angle you want without slippage and bent exactly where you want. The ones plumbers use for hot water pipes are probably too big because of the larger diameter but no doubt some company will make one that fits.
Fighters and shooters should be easily playable under any language. The language barrier is usually to do with RPGs, strategy games and dating games if you're into that.
You could look at it that way. Another way is that it improves trade relations between the two countries so they can better resolve their differences amicably.
It wasn't all that long ago when China resumed shipping freight directly to taiwan.
Actually you should care. If China stayed a shithouse state then you're more likely to be 'nuked'. Look at how n korea is and how they envy the south. Not very peaceful there is it? but I put nuked in commas because you wouldn't go attack someone that owes you $100b each year. Nor would you be building the worlds largest dam or the worlds tallest building or the world's longest trans-oceanic Bridge (completed) or the worlds biggest condom just to risk losing them all in a war.
Regarding your comment about 'who gives a shit', when the standard of living in China improves to the level of 1st world nations and the chinese people get smarter from the money their parents spend on their schooling (which they make by working like slaves in factories such as these laptop places about to be built) there will come a time when the people will in force demand for a more democratic govt. Sure these students might be a bit brainwashed but education unavoidably = free thinking and if they don't get what they want they will fight for it. Or maybe the country will change over peacefully. If it happened in the former USSR it could happen again.
Good points. Another thing you could add to that is China has a growing number of working couples who have 0 or 1 kids. That means more money can be devoted to consumer spending and owning the family home. I remember reading somewhere that bringing up a child to the age of 16 costs 1/3 of the parents yearly income in each of those years.
Well from your example I would take the 2g one since its lasts 5 times as long. Its second hand value only means something to me if I intend to sell it after 2 years. No matter how many years I keep a computer it will still be able to run what I wanted it to do when I first bought it.
If I only intend to keep it for 2 yrs because of higher expectations I have from my computer than I still would get the 1g one because it would be worth zilch, not $100 because its broken. Or if the parts are worth more than 100bucks than the 2g one should be worth more than that since its working.
Lots of people don't mind using 2year old computers, myself included.
The fact that there is a market for the games here is indicated by the fact that folks are moding their boxes to play them.
Distributors only release a title when they consider there is sufficent demand in the country to justify importing it. When the demand isn't there then it is only fair that a consumer be able to import it himself. Niche games that arent very popular either because of their genre or language are examples of this. the market isnt there but that doesnt mean the consumer should have to miss out because his console out-of-the-box isn't able to play it.
Each person who buys an out of region game is a person who would have but no longer will buy an in region game. ok so you're only talking about games that are already available locally. First off, the developer still gets his money and the publisher still gets his money. (you'll be surprised how many titles sold in Aust are manufactured overseas) The only entity missing out is the local distributer + local store but that money goes to the overseas store + overseas distributer. If I went to burger king instead of macdonalds, burger king misses out on my cash. bad luck for them if they dont offer the same thing or price it competitively.
Its in the hands of the local distributors to compete with their overseas counterparts not for the courts in aust to put up artificial barriers to protect their market. there wouldnt be a need to import games that are already available here if they get their act together.

I guess Livejournal's a snob then since free registration is only made available by invitation :)
I thought by original you meant just 4, 5 + 6.

He's doing it but he said it wont be until hes finish with 1, 2, + 3.
But hey, at least Lucas has ditched 7, 8 + 9 so we won't have to wait that much longer.

I cant see why it wouldnt work. once you click on the link you named, you're off livejournal's site and running code on that tinyurl.com page.
As a livejournal (but not AOhell) I know thats not possible becauses livejournal doesnt allow you to make your own page so you wouldn't be able to put that code in.
ta. as I said I wasn't too sure.

If you don't believe it, fair enough but that's just makes even more reason to photograph the area again to settle it once and for all.
harassment like in spam?
Its interesting that someone who litters others mailboxes with junk mail can't hack receiving it himself....
I for one am glad he's out of business. Like they say, what comes goes 'round, comes around.

Zallman isnt German, it's S. Korean.
Why do Germans still go for all-black, finned military chic?
are you talking about the inside or the outside?
I woulda thought they go for black in the inside because its a better conductor of heat.

There are still heaps of countries waiting in line to replace china when it replaces taiwan. India and S. Africa and Vietnam come to mind

What was there to see at the oddpost link?
It loaded up fine in my Mozilla Browser.
then I opened it in IE. Both look and function the same to me.

In a single year theres more foreign investment flowing into China than all the other asian countries COMBINED.
Publish the info on a tshirt using their ink ;)
