  2. Not that bad? on G-Phoria Awards Out of The Bag · · Score: 1

Don't get me wrong, I revile G4 as next as the next sane human, but... this isn't that bad. The parts of Halo 2 they recognize are certainly ones worth noting, they give credit to an amazingly orchestrated soundtrack... and they gave something to Katamari? How can I say no? Certainly it seems like there are only two games here (Halo 2 and God of War) but perhaps this is the first we'll see of G4 pulling its head out and taking a look around at what gamers actually care about. ...Not holding my breath though... =]

More than likely to study the ability of mammals to reproduce in a zero-gravity environment. As if the concept of having sex in 0G wasn't hard enough, think about those poor sperm! Since it's thought that they use gravity to tell which way to swim in the vaginal canal, this might seriously impede the ability to impregnate or reproduce in space.

You know, should we get there without artificial gravity.

  6. Skewed? on Women Control the DVR · · Score: 0, Flamebait

Commissioned by Lifetime? As in the Lifetime channel? As in the only place you can find back to back shows about brave women escaping from the oppression of absuive husbands and self-empowering talk programming about taking back the household by asserting your interior decorational dominance?

Lifetime... Television for Women? That Lifetime? And they say that women now control DVR? You don't say!

I certainly tries to remain objective, but Lifetime releasing a study like this seems about as ridiculous as their programming. What kind of a polling sample is 1,000 people on a NATIONAL basis

And pretty offensive, considering it predicates its appeal on "brainless female". As if they roam the streets in droves, feeding on the information and suffering of tortured retail workers. Hey 1up! Here's some hard-hitting investigative reporting for you: Some people, regardless of industry, are DICKS. They should do a side-story where the 'spy' goes in as a racist, sweatpants-clad bigot asking about when the next Nascar game is coming out, because as a former soldier of the retail frontline, I can assure you that the beer swilling mysogynist who wants that 50 dollar game for ten bucks is your REAL worst enemy.

So what if the weight is exceedingly high? This is just the first step. It's the proof that the potential for power is there. God knows how much the US love miniturization. If it's successful (and more importantly more profitable and less costly to the people who produce them) We should see steady improvements to the field in terms of weight reduction and increased power. This is merely the Model T of H Power.

As much as I disagree with the elitism that high-end Linux users seem to be prone to, the fact remains that if this businessman can't see a viable solution in the sheer variety of Linux, he simply isn't doing his homework. To accuse a car of being too confusing simply because you haven't taken the time to research the simplicity of pressing the gas pedal is NOT the fault of the car.

Some people just need to look a little harder to find what they really need.
