The Mag was worth getting just for the gdroms that came with it, most notibly one of the verry few places you could get the upadated browser and the full online compatible version of Sega swirl! I Dont blame Valve suing them. In the Steam EULA, it states in E-iii: "You are entitled to use the Steam Software for your own use, but you are not entitled to: . . . (iii) exploit the Steam Software or any of its parts for any commercial purpose." The advertsement is breaking the Steam EULA by the company is making money off products that Valve makes with out consent from them.
Ive never liked G4 since they stated airing, but Most of Halo's music is ambient, im suprised that World of Warcraft did not win, Jason Hayes IMHO is one of the best video game music composers, along with Fat Man, WoWs soundtrack was beautifuly composed like real music and is not just overly quiet to hide its flaws like quite a few other games. Also, they used an entire full orchestra to produce it, unlike other games that still are mostly synthesized.
Except software in which you have only the rights as stated in the EULA of the software, mabee they think they file not the hardware but the software that is ON the PSP. Just a guess.
It costs about $300-$350 to build for sony, and they are selling at $250 because they think they can make it up from software sales. On top of that,Im guessing about 3/5 of PSP are defected and returned. If sony made 3/4 a mil, their profits on the hardware would be: ~-$112,500,000. wow, nice going sony!

why dont you just get Notmad? Its an unoffical tranfer Program that IMHO is much better than creatives software,. you can buy it for very cheap at www.redchairsoftware.com
