    Agreed. Clearly, "data binding" can occur without resorting to any Microsoft technology, or is he trying to say that Microsoft invented "data binding", whatever that is exactly. I really doubt it. I have in fact written a csv data file driver class in Java. Rather trivial actually.

    This is why intelligent OSS fans use Google and not Yahoo. Never have, never will. And I implore my less-IT knowledgeable friends and family to use Google mail. Unfortunately they often opt-out explaining that they are used to Yahoo, even after I explain the myriad reasons NOT to use Yahoo (Word virus ease-of-use, msg tail adds, whatever else I can think of). It would be good for Google to write a Yahoo-Google Mail transition page for these people.

    Interesting. Hard to believe becuase that would require the use of creativity, since is very little material from either John R. R. Tolkien or his son Christopher regarding the time between the end of the 2nd Age and the Quest of Mt. Erebor (the Hobbit). Hollywood is such a creative wasteland. Maybe they can do what they always do and steal it from some talented writer.

Whta good does it fdo to make your own when ther means of production is really owned by the people who are not "the people"? If a select group of people can control what you say, are you really free?     Agreed. Marriage is hard work. I'm happily married. I was lucky however to find someone with whom I find attractive, has many of the same ideas I have, who is supportive and caring. Its hard to do. As for blame; don't go there. Blame is worthless. Just deal with the situation and get on with your life and your son, as much as the law will allow. Family law is heavily skewed toward the mother. I probably don't have to tell you that.

    Of all the things that a supposed "technology" company has on its to-do list...
    Besides, wouldn't the ubiquitous-ness of a brand word be more helpful to a company rather than locking the verbiage down so tightly you can't let slip a syllable for fear of a lawsuit? For example, where would Apple be if Xerox had patented the word 'mouse', or 'desktop'?

    Right. More properly, they are forks off of the FreeBSD branch of BSD 4.2 Light. We would do well to recognize where all this comes from. I'm frequently amazed by the number of noobs who have no idea about the BSD kernel.

    You are of course correct. The thing about BSD however, is it claims to be homogenous. That is; its similar to Japan. Everyone in Japan speaks one language: Japanese. BSD propoents claim the same thing, more or less. If its not clear look at the history of the 'ps' command on the BSD code line.

    Its an impractical question since you (almost) in every way, shape, and form have both if you have one. Its just as simple as telling some one that they can have either the cure or the hypdermic, but not both. One without the other doesn't make sense.
