    One, two, three, even four errors in that email! No exclemation points, no use of the _word_ "u" (like "c u therr". I mean, come on you even capitalized the first letter, what kind of AOL user would do that?? Really, you should really look into improving your writing techneques.

    There are; I dont; But by standards I would have to say that "3D" has to involve texture mapping and lighting -- not green, transparent, unshaded triangles.

    I wonder if they contacted John Carmak about this... or even concidered him. I mean, he and his team did create the first true 3d (raltime) game (wolfenstien, for those you living inside a cave) and his company does support Linux (Quake III Arena, for example)

    A good example of seperating content from presentation is to use an XML-type file (at least have a structured document model) where the music data is defined. Then, have somthing like an XLS sound stylesheet to define how the data will sound like. As a developer, this would create greater posibilities what I could do with the sound that my application processes.

    On a side noce GNoise is a good sound editor that I recommend to anyone doing edeting or large sounds like game-music (that is uncompressed in raw format.)

    How embarasing. Sorry about the typos, it should be obvious I was in a rush to get one of the first 10 posts on this article. I am a karma whore, ... ohh look: 5, Interasting.

    Internet Explorer lets you install plugins that can virtually destroy your computer to a point where the only thing left to do it format the hard drive. No adware, no anti-virusus. Clean re-install.

    Firefox, well... the pop-up blocker is real nice, and it wont let you downlaod ActiveX components.

    I use VNC to do check ups on my fathers computer a few times a day. This is real usedull because you can check the computer as if you were sitting in front of it in a very short ammount of time; You dont have to stand up and phisicaly be at the computer.

    I also installed Mozilla Firebi...fox on his computer so that he does not install anything he really neads.

    Uh... you move your head to turn? What is the point of that? It doesnt make anything more real... I mean, its still you sitting there in your underwear playing games on your computer all day/night.

    If do that kind of crazy shit, then you might as well make yourself a portable computer to enchance your gaming expereance.

    I think I am takling about one of these things. You hold the mouse in your hand, and your hand movements determine where the mouse move.

    I saw this first appear in a Best Buy a few years ago, this is nothing revolutionary here ;)

    You see... I use a freebsd server that is located in a closet ;) I have eveything I need on it installed. I use it for email, irs, http, ssh, everything. I want to keep my server, but get better bandwidth for it.

    I am not an expert on bandwith deistribution amongs different types of conectivity. But is this better then standard cable for a medium-traffic website?

    I pay 52$ right now for a Comcast cable connection, and they do not give me enough upstream bandwidth for my website. I would like to buy DSL for a chepper price, but would have lower downstream (DSL from these guys is 1 megabit down IIRC and comcast gives me 3 down).

    Would DSL be a better choise for me?
