I never said it was for RPG fans, I said it was lazy of the developer not to put a difficulty modifier in there since there are those who obviously want it.
i dunno, everyone says psp makes ds look like a foldable brick. dual screens arent going to add anything to gameplay that one larger screen cant. psp has usb so it can use mice and microphones, so ds cant really do anything psp cant
I'm going to start bitching whenever a game is too easy. Would that be fine?
Yes it would be. People have been complaining Wind Waker is too easy. Again, it would've been easier for nintendo to put a health difficulty modifier variable and let us set it to 2
If people knew it was too hard they wouldnt have bought it and there wouldnt have been these complaints.
if we pay for the game, it should be what we want. we shouldnt have to put up with assholes like you saying what we want is wrong. if tecmo knew their audience there wouldn't be these complaints.
its all to simple to make a health modifier (ie: 0.5) to make the game have a cheap easy mode for those who want it.
You don't think MS would love to see a linux advocate using a microsoft product? It would just go to show MS products aren't as bad as the linux advocates say they are. A linux guy using the MS Mp3 player would be like linux eating crow.
The demo's prior to the xbox version were all different kinds of games ranging from RTS to third person shooter. And Xbox software has made MS money, and brand recognition. And brand recognition makes a lot of things worth it.
I dunno, Linux seems to undercut the competition in the same way. Seems to me everyone here likes the way Linux is(nt) sold. So why can't microsoft join suit? Also, both sony and nintendo sold their console at a loss at launch.
My 5 gig mp3 player is only 1.3 gigs full. It lasts 18 hours on a single charge. And I don't listen to 90% of what's on it. I don't think I've listened to the Tatu folder once yet
Every console is sold at a loss at launch. I see nothing wrong with them setting low prices. IE for free? So much the better. If you don't like free or low cost, you must be what Penny Arcade calls a fuck tard
I doubt you'd need windows. Considering its microsoft it's safe to assume it'll actlike a normal USB mass storage device with FAT32 file system. Plus MS seems to like Macintosh, so that'll be supported. And MS may not wish to piss the linux ppl off, so may toss them a bone too. Plus they'd love linux people to like MS stuff.
I'm going to have to agree. Xbox is alot better than I expected. I was expecting ports of monster truck madness and flight sim 2000, not the sheer awesomeness that is Halo.
it is trollish, cause they a;ways bring it up in anything remotely to do with music. quit asking for ogg and make your own. Im sur eyou can hack the terrapin mine or the toshiba mobilphile, both use linux
You guys keep talking about restoring old user accounts. Accounts? It's a Mac, would you let other people touch your Mac? Didn't think so. This thing should only have 2 user accounts, Root (which you dont use much) and 1 User
Think this is an awesome idea? Now developers will be forced to, I dont know, make good games.
Albeit they aren't forced totally, but if more channels/networks would follow suit
And enter the matrix was horrible, atari shouldnt be allowed to make games anymore.
That makes no sense. If the frequency data matches the original, then it would sound like the original. The human ear isn't reliable, as human judgement isn't either. For instance, those tests where they give a person tap water in 2 differently labelled bottles (ie: evian) and they claim to be able to tell the difference.
Human judgement can't be trusted when compared to a computer
Ive listened to mmp3, ogg and wma versions of the same song and can't tell the difference. They all sound the same, so I just encode into the smallest format which is wma
The more realistic or detailed the physics, the more fun a game is. Just look at Halo2/Half Life2/Perfect Dark in comparison to their originals. They added so much and people are clamoring for them. (Or in PD's case, loving it) The newer games impose less and less rules on users and let them solve problems anyway they see fit. Look at Hitman as an example

bullshit
AnonCow has a point.

Parent already covered this, your friend was terminally stupid

$300 is the most ppl will pay for a console these days at launch

True Crime was horrible, worst sound track ever. And snoop dog swears way too much
Im starting to think it's just all anti microsoft FUD

If these games are more FUN that their predecessors, it has nothing to do about the graphics
You'll note I said that, I said it was cause of their awesome new physics enhancements
Open ended games have nothing to do with shaders or realistic physics.
You'll note I didn't say it had to do with the graphics, and that game does have a very detailed physics and scripting engine
(Doh!)
Mocking people cause you disagree only makes you look ignorant
that web site is not a good source of information. Read some of their other articles

As someone who imported Puzzle Collection, I can assure you it would've sold well. Afterall, Tetris sold the first gameboy
