...However both copies were later found to be corrupt, the first by excessive saliva and the second due to the Levitron Linus was also getting for Christmas so he had no choice but to do all the work himself.
And hopefully the HDD won't screw up after 1000 writes. Imagine doing heavy swapping on a flash drive only to find it corrupt after a couple of weeks due to the chip reaching it's write limit...goodby expensive USB storage.
Yes, it seems that someone doesn't understand that scaling an image up doesn't magically generate more information, regardless of how good your interpolation algorithm is.
You actually worry about cleaning it? I just recommend reformatting:p. It's got 2 big advantages:
1) It's easier to do (even if it takes longer there's no guesswork/trudging through the registery)
2) It tends to be such a big deal for the relative (backing up etc) that I tend to get asked less:).
Then again, doesn't
Adaware do a good enough job as it is?
Or maybe they are super-inteligent and have generated computers that don't *need* programming. The computers simply exist, interacting with the alien life by a method so natural to them that they don't know it happens...
They've done a horribly annoying job of mixing feet and km in
this image but why have they used nm? Like did the flight reach 100km high, travel 53nm in space then come down again?
Did they screw up there or am I deeply confused about some weird measurement scanle than just happens to look like nanometers but like, isnt?
That's a good point why is it that a DVD burner costs (in Australia) $150-$200 while a DVD recorder costs ~$1200? Like when you consider say a TV tuner card for $100 (which I believe is quite expensive, I haven't looked at them for a long time) you can record TV with your computer for $300 tops. Now does it really cost $900 for the dedicated ADC chip to encode the AV signal?
Or it could mean that *everyone* will simply start producing cheap garbage and you won't be able to buy a quality product regardless of how much you want to pay.
I would much rather pay an extra $10 or $20 just to know that what I'm buying will last me more than warranty+1day, there are people who don't have an upgrade cycle longer that 6 months and want something they know will simply last.
Well it depends on what else in open I guess. What Gnome does is group similar windows and the algorithm is such that if GIMP is the only thing open it still groups it because all the windows are related to each other. So even though there may only be 5 windows open it still takes 2 clicks to access any of them.
Only in the car? What would you do if say your car broke down and you had to take the train? I can just imagine someone sitting on the train with a large brief case containing a few 12v SLA batteries, an inverter and a mini-itx based computer just to listen to music "portably". What ever happened to just listening to the radio? Oh that's right, they only play "popular" music now don't they?
You americans are lucky with free speach and all, here in australia "truth" is not a defence for defamation, as www.overclockers.com.au found out that hard way:(. Read the forum terms/conditions for minor details.

Woulden't that happen sometimes because of floating point errors in the FPU anyway?
The headings in the article are "Symptoms" and "Resolution". Why have they made out like this is a bug when it's just a feature?
Everyone was so powerful there was no suspense.
What? Like in all anime, which seemed to have a big influence on the films in terms of taking things too far.
How about:
"Call Jenny for an adequate time: 555-0634"
A graphical interface displays the commands, and lets him chose
# "TAB" "TAB"

Personally I think bugfix/security update CDs should be sent as free "under warranty repairs".
I hope you do it for the sake of the patients as well as the network though!

Personaly I hate it, especially when I have something like GIMP open and all it's toolboxes get grouped into one taskbar entry.
Even your comment is a lie!

Heh, didn't think that'd go unchecked for long...
Shoulden't that read 6GB?
The code that SCO wrote.
And here was I thinking that you could only buy that stuff on e-bay.
Dance? What like the urbercon robot?
