Micro-soft was it? I think I've heard of them before... Man, that's spooky. Right at the top, right where they want to be.

Yeah, you're right, 35DD or so. But this is Slashdot, so I was being realistic, 19" is about as big as any nerd can hope for.

  4. Come and get me! on RIAA To Sue Hundreds Of File Swappers · · Score: 1

I'd like to see 'em try it. Last time I checked, the DCMA didn't apply here in Canada, and I'm not sure if copyright offence is covered under extradition treaties. Come on, who's with me? Anybody? There's gotta be someone out there who will listen? Damn, it's just me. Oh well. Hey, you're reading this, you wanna be my friend? No? Ok... (Starts humming "Mr. Lonely" by Bobby Vinton). Wait, the RIAA and their cronies are at the door. "No I swear Mr. Hatch, I didn't download that song, I own the 45!!!" AHHHH!

  9. Price versus quality on The Downward Spiral of Music Retailing · · Score: 2, Insightful

I just can't fathom paying more than 20 bucks for a CD when I'm not even sure I'll like half the songs on it. I can't see paying that much when I like the songs on it too.

Why don't they drop the price back to like 12-15 bucks, then people might actually want to buy CD's again. They only cost a few cents to make anyway, the rest is all profit...

  10. USB 3.0 to be called USB 2.0? on USB 1.1 Renumbered To USB 2? · · Score: 1

I'm confused. Do they limit all USB designations now at 2.0? What about the next standard? Do we go to USB 3.0 but really call it 2.0, or wait for 4.0 to come along and then call 3.0 4.0? It must be that new math because I don't get it. Wait, are we talking about Grade Point Averages or about USB again...

  11. It would be cool on Chinese Manned Space Flight Set For Autumn · · Score: 1

I don't see why thy shouldn't put a man (woman?) into space. NASA sure is having problems these days, the Russians are down on their luck but still in the space race, and Europe is having a few problems with the big Arianne launchers. If someone else can get a stable rocket into orbit with a human aboard, go for it.
