Yes, your right. 10.2.6 was released 5 months ago. However, Java 1.4.1 Update 1 for Mac OS X was released about 2 weeks ago.

Given how frequently Apple updates OS X, I'm never going to have an impressive uptime. The last update was what about 2 weeks ago?

Sure they can. All they would have to do is claim that their new operating system use the same search technology to search the web as it does to search you hard drive. Then all they would have to do is direct you to the same place to do either search, and claim that it is an innovative feature.

What if a several different websites are thrown up, and on election day the people working the polls can tell the voters to go online at home and verify their vote. What website you go to can be determined by what region you live in. Now I know that online polls are not reliable, but if a several different websites where created all with a different polling system, that would make it extremely difficult to hack every system so that the results would be consistent. If any of the online poll results are significantly different it would be time to start asking question.

This is no joke. I recently bought a monitor and some 802.11b equipment, It took me six attempts at least of telling employee's "Hey I want this monitor" until one guy decided I was serious. They would just walk by otherwise. After I got the monitor the employee ran off before I could ask him to show me where the networking equipment was.

I couldn't agree more I have been looking for a Mac OS X equivalent to FruityLoops for some time. So far I have found nothing as simple and powerful as FrutiyLoops. Soundtrack look like it might be the one. I can't wait to get a hold of extra cash!

Why would future historians not want to visit the 21st century? Don't you think they would visit all centuries including the 21st century? We don't exclude periods from history now, even if they are not interesting enough for you. Why would future historian skip a period based on interest? They wouldn't really know if a period was of any interest until the visited it. Unless of course you think that time travel is so far off that our current century will be forgotten. Just one century of trillions and trillions of other centuries. Will no future historian ever, for no good reason, pick a random date to check out, that would happen to be the 21st century. I was thinking that the time traveler would be from a time no more than a few thousand years into the future, though. Don't you think someone would wonder what really happened at such and such event. Also try not to think of history as either interesting or not. History should be a matter of what can be learned from it. Couldn't a future historian learn something from the 21st century? And I never said a future historian would attempt to interact with us. On the contrary, I don't think they would reveal that they where time travelers.
