Those guys seem to think everything should be coded in $INTERPRETED_LANG, even if it takes 10 times longer to run it than in another language, and results in a program slowed by runtime type checking and garbage collection.
$INTERPRETED_LANG is great, but lets be honest - at least 80% of $INTERPRETED_LANG programmers shouldn't be programming, let alone programming in a high level language!
I've seen more horribly malformed $INTERPRETED_LANG than C!
If I'm paying then I don't want to see commercials. I don't want to pay for content I'll never view either. So no bundles, I just want to pick the channels I want. The channels must be cheap as in $(basic_bundle_cost/basic_bundle_channel_count).
So far no one is providing a service like this. iTunes has two of the three requirements, but it is not cheap. I can't afford $1.99 for a single TV show.
No, if you think about it the tabs belong in the title bar. Tabs are like windows (except they share a window), every UI element (back button, forward button, address bar, search bar) is an element of the tab. Just think about it for two seconds! I love the tabs in the title bar. It is logical and it is easier to use.
Besides there is an option to put the tab bar back, just search for it.
They made me throw my nail clippers away once, but let me keep the knife that was right next to the nail clippers. It's not so much that you're getting lucky as TSA is staffed by idiots.
On OS X you are always asked before a downloaded file is opened. This holds true for documents and application. Moving the file does not change the behavior. You can drag the application to the/Applications folder and you'll still be prompted.
Sometimes one of my mail servers is not accessible when I send and email from one of my many email addresses. I still want the email to get sent NOW, so my client just uses an alternative.
In particular my school's email server is not reliable. When I send an email from my school address it almost always goes through my private email server.
Email works this way for a reason. Don't change it.
this is quite a change from the previous administration, who made few efforts to directly connect with the average voter.
Which was almost Orwellian, because I remember the previous administration talking about "transparency" as if they were running every decision past the average voter.
Very cool. It's not working for me though. I got a VLC error then the video started to stream for about half a second before it froze. In all fairness it's most likely my ISP, my 5 Mbps connection is running at 1% of it's capacity.
I agree the Mighty Mouse is a great general purpose mouse. Scroll wheels always hurt my wrist. The tiny scroll ball has never mad my wrist hurt and it scrolls in all directions! Gotta love that.
I also think it's just the right size. It is symmetrical, so lefties aren't left out. It's customization UI rocks and the drivers are transparent to the end user.
Other mice always require really bad drivers and even worse customization UIs. (I'm thinking of an IntelliMouse and a few Logitech mice I've owned)
The one and only problem with the Might Mouse arises with FPSs, you can't use both the primary and secondary button at the same time. I don't game much, so I just switch to another mouse when I do. I image it might be bothersome for some folks though.
Most people I know that have owned an MX developed RSI. I owned on in 2003 and had the worst RSI of my life. Logitech should be sued for that abomination!
I'm using second hand CFLs that my mom gave me when I moved into my apartment. Not a single one has burned out. She bought them for a dollar a bulb at a dollar store. They've been moved 4 times and are 5+ years old.
I guess you can use halogen if you want to heat your house with light bulbs.
So long as Best Buy is the only electronic store in town and people need some item immediately they're won't rethink their pricing strategy. Most towns don't have a Fry's but lots have a Best Buy. I know I end up at Best Buy more than I'd like.
Reply hazy, try again. Just kidding without a doubt we get your point. I mean all signs point to yes, most likely the average/.er can get the point. Yes - definitely, it is certain and it is decidedly so. You may rely on it. At least, as I see it, yes.

SQLite are belong to public. PostgreSQL are belong to community.
I think it'll be a merge of the names.

I don't think that's entirely correct. My iPhone is EDGE only and has trouble connecting to the internet with 5 bars of EDGE.
I've thought about it. Tabs aren't like windows: I've used browsers where tabs were like windows, it's called "MDI", and it sucks.
MDI was just a really bad implementation of tabs. Same idea horrible execution.

I see more people use Firefox on their Macs. I'd use Firefox on my Mac too, if it wasn't such a piece of junk.
I don't have flash on my iPhone -- and I like it that way!

What so China can just buy all the Iranian oil at a reduced price? Politics and economics don't mix.
