When you have two other known Democrats on record (Rep. Jack Hennessy and Rep. barbara Lambert) caught playing solitaire during a legislative session, I don't have much faith in any Democrat who plays games. But then again, games is all they've ever known to play in the first place. Par for the course.

As some markets mature (some, not all) with few players remaining leaving an oligopoly, the agreed upon consensus is that there's bountiful profit in scarcity. So you artificially restrict a resource to improve profit. It's a win win for the providers. They sell less, and make even more profit because now you have competition for those resources and thus will pay more. More so if you're a monopoly for your area.

If you though taking an international flight from halfway around the world was a bitch, imagine taking a trip from one side of the starship to the other. Perhaps they will have the whole teleportation thing figured out by then.

It's only a matter of time. The real question to ask is which form of government can withstand the corruption, fall, and cleansing process?

But my point is to get average random people involved in the experience and document. Having professional opinions on the matter is important. But it's also just as important to get an outside perspective too.

From the look and feel of it, "Metro" was driven by a bullet list of objectives, some artsy fartsy group, and pushed hard by marketing. Damn everything else in between that matters and all that.
