After working in a call center for four years, my immune system is pumped up. The first year was hell, but after that I haven't been sick yet. Not being assigned to your own cubicle (pick any terminal available when starting shift) will do that.

However, you can't really build an immune system against fecal matter. I mean, I suppose you could. But 9 out of 10 times it will leave you puking your guts out. People really need to wash the shit (literally) of their hands. Dump them in caustic acid if you must. But *please* people, wash your hands before leaving the restroom!!

  2. Sanitary alignment on A "Throne" Fit For a Tech King · · Score: 1

Regardless of what throne you sit upon, sanitary alignment within the restroom is extremely important. For example, the trash can should be located within close proximity to the door. That way, you can wash your hands and use the paper towel to open the door prior to throwing the towel in the trash.

Yes, call me strange and unusual. But this is my "holy crusade". Public restrooms (in fact all restrooms) should have sanitary alignment.

As I've said before. America's problems can't be solved with trickle-down or trickle-up policies. That's because were facing trickle-OUT. So until we can stop the hemorrhaging of wealth from our nation, we'll never pay off our debt. At worse, we default.

That actually may be the whole point. The Feds may be trying to engineer the handover of the TLDs to the UN. They're just trying to piss everyone off enough for the UN to take the initiative rather than the US be so blatant about it. If I had to guess, China's pulling the strings for this to happen. I wonder what kind of back-room deals are being made now they own so much of our debt.

I go so far as to say that being "regulated" = buying off the Feds (basically a bigger mafia above them) enough to keep them from looking their way as they continue to game the system.

My advice, only gamble if your in it for the good times. If you earn any money, run away ASAP. If you don't, consider the loss a cost of consuming entertainment. But above all, it's best to accept the premise that you will get financially fucked no matter where you gamble at. Be it in Vegas or online.

With a traditional rack (air cooled), your servers will build up heat in the event of an HVAC failure. But at least you have ample time to start a controlled server shutdown sequence.
