    The point is, he did NOT create or invent the Internet. The Internet was a slow evolutionary process. Anyways, what did you expect? All polititions (Gore, Bush...doesn't matter) will end up putting their foot in their mouth. It's just praying on the weak minded to capture votes. And that my friend, is politics. It's dirty no matter what.

    Getting yourself outta debt from all that credit card spending. Seriously, who DOESN'T have CC debt, I know I have alot and it's my own damn fault. In fact, consumers are more in debt collectively then our government (US). At least taxes are being lowered, that's the step in the right direction.

    From industry (namely the auto), you can already see transitions from standard to metric. It's just more cost effective to move to metric in internation trade and industry. As for a complete transition, I doubt it will ever happend in my lifetime (i'm 27).

    So you must be one of those proponents to "God part of the brain" theory, yes? I understand it's purpose is for the cognitive mind to not break down psychologically to the mear thought of death. After all, just seeing something dead will for a moment give us a bit of fear due to self reflection to just how mortal we really are. In the end though, it doesn't matter. I believe there is a God. Something/s had to come from nothing. And that my friend, is a miracle unto itself.

    Seriously. The reason devices haven't been split up into wireless sub components (such as headphones) is that then they would all need their own power source, hence batteries. The wires provide both the SIGNAL and the POWER.

    There are virtual CDROM drivers that alow you to run a program or read data from an ISO image. But because of the drivers, Windows treats it as though it was a physical device. Of course, you still have to rip the ISO image from a phyisical CDROM. But it has it's applications, such as getting around those lame ass copy protected games that HAVE TO HAVE THE FUCKING CD IN even though it's already been installed to the harddrive.

    The Earth is constantly radiating thermal engergy out into space in the form of infrared radiation. This is expesially true durring the night (dark side of the planet). That said, alot of the thermal energy is comming from the oceans via underwarter volcanism. This in turn heats up the atmosphere. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if global warming and the rate of Earthquakes go hand and hand with each other when graphed along side each other.

    Actually, that isn't such a bad idea. Create a P2P program based on dating. You get to create profiles and everything. Then, just hop onto a chat channel marked for your area in town. Think Match.com, only decentralised, free, and annonomous at will (can be). And of all people, I would think geeks would be codeing tooth and nail for this project. Anyone have such as P2P program in the works at Sourceforge? Hey, I'm ready...hook me up =)

    So is the random changing box at the end of each level. Just start running before you get in the view of the box. Then if you time the jump at the right angle, you can get the star every time!! Yes, every time at the SAME angle of jump in relation to the random box. Hell, it's only an 8-bit based program. Why make it more complicated to program then you have to when it's just about developing an intertaining video game? Anyways, just thought I would share that tidbit.

    Ok, I'm only responding just to back this up because I'm so tired of the old Hindenburg issue being brought up! And yes, the paint was basically of the same compound that would be considered solid rocket fuel. It has to do with the metal that was in it, hence it's silver color. And yes I know, this is redundant. Sorry.

    If you have either an IBM or Hitachi drive, you can download a free utility that runs in the background called SMARTDefender. And unlike Norton, this program will monitor as many drives as you have installed. Though I'm not sure if it will see other manufactured drives regardless of the fact if you have just one IBM/Hitachi.

    I wonder what will ever become of ICQ now that AOL has a stake in them. Though the program has gotten bloated over the years, ICQ Lite is a nice step back to it's original roots. I personally hope it sticks around
