No, it's ironic because the same environmental policies legislated in the US with regards to manufacturing has done the exact opposite. The "problem" just moved out of the US entirely.
Also known as "the laws of unintended consequences".
Based on past experience, most of those Windows 8 and 8.1 purchases are home and student based. Businesses are either exercising their Windows 8 downgrade rights and sticking with Windows 7 Pro, or holding out for a true successor, possibly being Windows 10.
Pollution exported because our environmental and business climate (taxes) is too restrictive in America to build and operate here. The epitome of ironic!
That's true. However, what gays want is truely a civil union so that they can partake in the same legal benifits and protections that a heterosexual married couple does.
I don't get it. Why does a travel restrictions have to be an all-or-nothing proposition?
It's real bloody simple. Let medical staff, military, and those working directly to address the Ebola epidemic travel. Those that wish to travel for leisure or other business related reason, banned from doing so. Exceptions are if you wish to return home to Africa to be with your family, but knowing full well you can't leave until after the epidemic subsides.
Call of Duty (COD) series sold over a 100 MILLIONS copies. Most of that on consoles by far and away! You couldn't be more wrong. Now that said, I personally prefer the PC platform for FPS games, but I'm in the minority here per the market.
Meaning, if it's yet-another-fart-app that provides 15 seconds of novelty fame for the creator, it's not worthy. Apple want's to control quality over quantity in the App store.
Microsoft patch Tuesday is the 2nd of every month. After testing, they should be deployed and installed at least by Friday, and then rebooted that night or weekend for changes to take effect.
The problem isn't rebooting the PCs for security updates. The problem is rebooting PCs once a week to pro-actively address memory leaks. This is very bad and dangerous mindset for multiple reasons. I.e. LAZY! But most if all, it involves communication via IT to the rest of the staff which I rarely every see in the corporate world. Most IT departments of this SEP (Someone Elses Problem) view in which they themselves are abstracted from the very company that keeps them employed. That very notion should be a fireable offense IMHO.
I'm sure all but the CxO's and executive, right?! God forbid if you have to be the IT grunt that has to explain data loss from a document that wasn't saved prior to them going home.
Yeah, rebooting PCs via automated scripts is both fucking lazy, and addresses the symptoms, not root cause.
For everyday work, an SSD help calm my aggression enormously. Nothing frustrates me more than having to wait on a machine that's capable of processing math billions of times faster than I ever could. There's no excuse for it. Now, test and working VMs run like a bat out of hell, and searching through content in Outlook is a breeze for reference lookup.
This better not be a hand-held unit. I can only imagine children getting ahold of this thing and playing around with it. Burning out the retina of your eye, thus rendering partial or total loss of vision would be tragic! No, they need to be in the form factor as as automatic stapler. Just slide the corner of a letter in the notch and it's good to go.
The IRS will not not go away. The tax code is used and exploited for votes and social engineering. It's a source of power that politicians will never relinquish.
Ebola is like an airline crash. It's horrible to hear about and shocking... but likely to happen to you? No... You are far more likely to get killed by HIV, The Flu, Heart Disease than Ebola. Even if we have a major outbreak here.
No, more like an astroid impact. Not likely to happen in one's lifetime. But, when you see a nasty rock hurdling through space coming toward your planet, everyone takes notice. Ebola has a real potential of wiping out more than 50% of all human life. Both due to the Ebola virus itself, and the ancillary wars and famine that result from a societal collapse. AIDS is, yes. This Ebola shit, happing NOW. Stop it while we can!!!
People that value their jobs (afraid of losing it) and at risk for being one paycheck away from paying the mortgage/rent will not skip work. I'm fortunate enough to be working in IT that can do my job at home. I prefer not to, but it's optional. Unfortunately, half my time involves being on-site to various client locations...touching lots of keyboards and mice when I user requests immediate help. It's also why I care a bottle of Purell in my pocket during the flu season or use it when I suspect someone with a cold.
You know, if there was an actual pool (forget a shower) of something that would kill thus stuff, I wouldn't hesitate to swim in the stuff for a few minutes prior to taking anything off. Not getting this virus is worth the extra peace of mind to be double, no....triple damn sure.
You can only catch it by ingesting another persons bodily fluids
Let me translate that into real-world terms. Do NOT rub your eyes, nose, or mouth with the hand/s that have come in contact with Ebola infected bodily fluids.
Exact opposite would happen. The souther border would be overrun as that 3rd-world hellhole would be worse off. Mexican's would flood into America in attempt to flee to safer ground, ostensibly.
They don't have a fucking clue. And it's clear that even in my state of Texas (one of the *the* best states for advanced medical care and treatment) they don't have their shit together! WTF?! Now imagine hundreds of people flooding into hospitals. I have zero faith in the "system" now. Bunch of fucking morons who elected even bigger morons in office. Idiocracy on full display.
Like I said, if the world implodes in on itself, you guys are on your fucking own with the exception of a few close people in a clan/tribe. Water, food, guns, and ammo in that order.
Yeah I'm pissed! Stop this shit right now! Contain it!
Because we are about to regain some freedom by telling the Democrat party to STFU and sit down?!

Anything wrong with the proposed solution above?
"fps and consoles doesnt mix, pick one"

Now to be fair, you did "possess" it.

No, I think Apple doesn't want an iOS device to serve as an on-board computer for home-brew guided weapons! Well DUH!
And it started out like this.
Microsoft patch Tuesday is the 2nd of every month. After testing, they should be deployed and installed at least by Friday, and then rebooted that night or weekend for changes to take effect.

I'm really surprised no one thought about adding peppermint flavoring to the glue of all those Christmas stamps. Guess that might never happen now.
That is correct. Constitutional rights supersede treaties.
Too hard to transmit? Yeah, sure. And people that were zipped up in a body condom weren't supposed to catch it too.

I like the dream BTW.
