Well, actually, it seems as though only the second and third issues were fixed -- if you look at the Bugzilla link mentioned in the first article, https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=27541 7 (copy 'n paste) shows the bug as NEW, and the comments do show that this hasn't been fixed yet. I tried it with my FF1.0 on Linux and the bug was present.
I agree with you a lot. I don't really believe in political parties that much, they do much more bad than good. I did notice that much of your suggestions (more than two-parties, proportional representation) resemble the Canadian political system. Just something I noticed.
Judging from what I've seen of Nader in the past, he's not going to "call it quits". He seems to just want to show people that there is not just a Democratic vote or a Republican vote; quitting would undermine his entire reason for being in the race. I'm sure he'll still have his little 2% taking away from the Democrats come Election Day.
I'd just like to say that I really wasn't expecting a +5. I agree, it's not THAT funny. I was really expecting a +3 or +2, and that's it. So please, in a very odd plea, mod me down!
Recently my Windows installation got really messed up, and so I had to format my disks and reinstall it. If one does format disks, but something goes wrong (power outage?) what happens now?
That brings up a good point. The RIAA is trying to restrict P2P because their "could" be pr0n on it. Wake up, RIAA. The whole friggin' INTERNET "could" have pr0n on it, so why don't we shut it down, for the good of mankind?
Everything has drawbacks, but sometimes they aren't really that big. You can't just go around being more strict when a little problem arises.
Yeah, and while they're at stating the obvious for stupid people with good lawyers, why not put them outside strip clubs? If only the world had less idiots...
If a person who don't trust sudenly starts doing something for the "common good", wouldn't you be a little suspicious and say "what're you up to?" This could easily be a way to find not just pr0n sharers, but illegal music sharers.
Why would you even alert the masses of this? Saying "We were almost all going to die" is akin to saying "You were almost murdered." That would panic the person(s) a lot, and if you didn't tell them they would've been completely happy and fine. Remember, ignorance is bliss!
This shows yet another advantage Linux has over Windows, no one has to pay any overcharging lawsuits. Then again, you wouldn't get free money with Linux...
So what's the VaR of using VaR? :)
Might I be the first to say... woot?
Throw in the newest pop band, pink on red text, and the tag and you're golden.
I tried a random search with this new service, and, well, see for yourself. Note the "Did you mean". Poor, poor Spain.

Get Cheating Death. I haven't seen any cheaters in a long while.

Now all it needs is a 800 lb. grizzly bear controller and it'll be perfect.

RIAA: Evil group of people with no morals, who are currently hated by 99% of /.
MPAA: Not the RIAA.
I think that says something.
Learn Klingon, make passwords in it. Barely anyone knows it, so you should be safe. Still, for even more security, you could 1337ize it: t1hIng@n_#01
A SCO article that either 1) explains SCO is wrong or 2) tells what stupid thing SCO has done now.
Seriously, I think we've heard the same thing for quite a while now. 2) is okay to hear about, but 1) gets old real fast.

Is it just me, or this remind anyone of C&C Generals' China?
No apples? I guess cafeteria food got even less healthy, if that's even possible...
I would think so. It could even affect your actual food consumption- not everyone is going to wait 12 hours.

as silly as thinking democracy pushes the best leaders to the top.
But it does! It elects the lesser of two evils from the two major political parties. I fail to see how that person is not the "best".
And then the socially adept will do the same, and then they'll just have robots do all that for them, and then I think we all know what happens next.
I'd like to see it break-dance. It's bring new meaning to "break"-dance.
