As a Texan, am I the only one that noticed the error in that Carmack spells the city of Amarillo, "Armadillo?" Most people don't realize the difference.
Remember when in one of the numerous mods for Half-Life you could download one of the "new" maps for the low, low price of $0.00? Not to mention the widespread availability of maps due to them being user-created.
When it comes to console gaming, (since so many claim consoles to be the so-called "future of gaming") are we seeing the end of user contribution to games like this?

What's the deal with that? Does NASA really trust Windows to other superior OS's? Or could have Microsoft "influenced" them (with cash, etc.) to use it?
