Actually the Scientology episode did draw threats from the scientologists and wasn't shown for a while. I'm not sure if Comedy Central changed their mind about showing it again, but repeats were kept off the air for a time.
The difference being that shitty flash sites are done by companies that you might actually need information from/about. While the Geocities and Angelfire sites were more for look at my cat type of sites.
I have an iPhone 4 and I've been able to drop to no bars in the same spot I had 5 bars previously, so in my experience the "depends on how strong the original signal is" argument doesn't stand up. I can stand in the same spot (so the signal strength shouldn't be wildly different) and experience little to no signal loss with a clean dry hand touching the lower left corner, but if my hand is damp from perspiration or the natural build up of oil I experience a drop to zero bars in a matter of seconds. All this makes sense though, since the salty sweat/oil should be more conductive than a clean dry hand. I like the iPhone, but I don't care for the apologists who refuse to admit there is a problem anymore than I care for the company that won't admit there is an issue.
Steve Jobs hasn't ever admitted to the iPhone 4 losing all signal or dropping calls when held in the "death grip". He only admitted to a loss of signal strength, which he said all phones experience when held in a similar manner. This article just seems to confirm what he said. The real world difference is, that the iPhone 4 can actually drop calls and appear to lose all signal when held this way. Notice there is a difference between reality and what Apple (or any company that doesn't want to admit they have a flaw in their product) will admit to.
They test everything and historically have been fairly reliable since they don't accept advertising dollars from the manufacturers of the products they test, unlike most magazines and websites.
Actually, you have at least 14 days to return a phone and not get charged the cancellation fee. Since the phone just came out a week ago, this won't be an issue.
How does this comment appear twice in the same article and get modded insightful? Education is not free, it is paid for by tax dollars. In most places there are also fees paid at enrollment time.
Free education? What planet are you living on? Around here education is paid for by tax dollars and is far from free. On top of the tax dollars there are also enrollment fees, fees for books, fees for lunch, etc.
Adobe only recently stopped using APIs from Mac OS 9 (CS 5), it only took them 10 years to start using only APIs from the new OS, you want to blame Apple for that too? Adobe doesn't play well with anyone, why would you even consider supporting them?

When you file a missing persons report just tell them the missing person is a pirate, that should solve this problem.

Anyone else find it funny that a government funded television group is complaining about the government wasting money?

You've never seen a get Chrome banner? Have you ever visited a little site called Google with a browser that isn't Chrome?
Why is this marked Informative? Clearly he is making a joke. Just read the line about the runaway success of the Kin.
