It is far worse than that. Your 'name' not you is innocent until proven guilty. Pay careful attention to that fact that it is 'names' on a watch list not persons. If you share the same name you come under the same scrutiny.
I could be the underlying reality is, that how they treat people who get pulled up by this illegal (guilty until proven, whoops oh wait, guilty forever regardless) watch list has more to do with how common the name is, rather than any real evidence ie if too many people complain too often, they whole fishing expedition method of investigation will come apart at the seams.
So people are not penalised 'er' excluding being routinely delayed at police stops and, airports, being subject to humiliating and dehumanising physical searches and, you can bet routinely denied employment. All combined having a substantial impact of their life, just because they share a name with another suspect.
It seems the only real resort to clear yourself is ensure your name is globally unique.

Many governments have long forgotten it is not always about making money but more often saving money will produce far better results. Rather than wasting huge sums of money on for profit text books, they should start investing that money in the future and pay for the production of open text books (digital and print, that can continually be revised with minimal investment).
Pretty much a pointless patent app, why because mobile smart phone gains it usability from basically being an all in one appliance, the docking station is still considered more of a hindrance than a benefit. Just what is needed more bits to loose and buy again and again and again.

More accurately Amazon wants to target Apple's interactive market. Amazon is the content distribution cripple because it could not target interactivity and was only aimed at passive consumption of other people's content. In shifting to interactivity, it gains access to the simple gaming market and even simply MMO's.
The world is slowly but surely shifting from passive content consumption to interactive content consumption. It might take quite some to get to a holo-deck but interactivity is inherently more desirable than passive consumption.
Let's see that issue come up, when US workers are trained to act as say a Russian call centre and are required to speak with distinctive Russian accents rather than regional US accents.

Time for reality. Want to do that. Use google maps, create a route from start destination to finish destination. Then do a search on that map for the shops of your choice. If their is not one already on the route, simply drag a route marker point nearest to that store onto that store and watch the route change to suit.
