Illogical, perhaps you are unaware but government is what gives value to and protects the value of currency http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Currency. Without government there is no means to establishing and maintain a socio-economic system in it's current expression.
One of the first duties of government is to ensure the continued fluidity of the economy and that requires the continued flow of currency throughout the socio-economic base, the more you choke up that flow the more the economy stagnates. That makes no sense at all. Printing extra money simply devalues that money currently in circulation. Higher taxes do not devalue the currency and it really depends upon how the taxes are spent. Obviously infrastructure improvements improves productivity and reduces costs, the social welfare net puts the money back into circulation (rather than wastefully clumping in certain spots, only to buy up more of the means of production, further clumping the money, which clogs the flow of money just like blocking a sewer, basically the economy turns to shit).

Looking at some of that companies apps it seems like Apple might have specifically made in difficult for end users to 'do it themselves' in order to drive revenue and a lot of app creators are in on the game, 'eww'.
Especially when computer led "productivity" enhancements in reality are all about replacing people with computing power and also replacing expensive skilled people with cheaper partly trained button pressers. Technically the more powerful the devices, the fewer people required and the lower the skill set needed, hmm, until something goes wrong, then kablowie, it's somebody else's problem and the implementers are out of there with their bonuses and golden parachutes. Mainly because the efficiencies gained do not account for the massive losses and costs when they fail.
Of course there are two types of black hat hackers. One group, the private enterprise, distribute their attacks so that they kind hide their criminal activities behind the activities of script kiddies. The other type the government professionally paranoid black hat hackers tend to keep their attack secret until they use them of course corruption in those organisations means attack methods can leak out.
I wonder how many out in the wild attacks had their origins in the offices of the professionally paranoid and whether this has been investigated yet.
Simplest way to put activity like this is to choke the flow by charging for access to each individual record. Millions of records suddenly costs tens of millions of dollars, making this kind of activity economically unattractive.

One of the first duties of government is to ensure the continued fluidity of the economy and that requires the continued flow of currency throughout the socio-economic base, the more you choke up that flow the more the economy stagnates. So breaking up monopolies, heavily taxing bad economic activities and preventing corrupt activities designed to aggregate all the means of economic production in the fewest hands possible, activities that undermine the whole socio economic structure required for democracy.

That makes no sense at all. Printing extra money simply devalues that money currently in circulation. Higher taxes do not devalue the currency and it really depends upon how the taxes are spent. Obviously infrastructure improvements improves productivity and reduces costs, the social welfare net puts the money back into circulation (rather than wastefully clumping in certain spots, only to buy up more of the means of production, further clumping the money, which clogs the flow of money just like blocking a sewer, basically the economy turns to shit).
The economy is meant to be for the benefit of all and not a minority, those that most benefit by the economy should pay the most to keep it going, else in the long term they will become the victims of it's inevitable violent collapse.
I fail to see why you can not understand that a protest is meant to be disruptive and the substantive difference between shutting something down permanently versus a short term non-damaging temporary disruption, not too mention the idea of which takes precedence corporate profits or people's rights. Just to be certain, a corporation is not a person, it is a business illusion behind which to hide amoral douche bag behaviour and to be able to put the penalties for lying, cheating, stealing and even killing on the share holders rather than the people who actually make those decisions.
The reality is they have very little in common. Computer games are all largely participatory based, participation being largely driven by enjoying the game play. Jock strap games are largely spectator based, with spectator numbers largely driven by mass marketing (you know the crap, watch the "heroes", watch the ladies in revealing outfits, drink beer, drink more beer, drink even more beer and pretend your a hero out there on the field). The pretending for mass media jock strap games doesn't even stop there, barracking for a team somehow makes you a winner when they win, discussing the action on the field somehow makes you part of the "hero" action (beer drinking also helps this activity) and, watching jock strap douche sports shows somehow provides you with intellectual understanding (beer helps here too).

Those add on charges are just abuses of the law by the law. Seriously how fucked up and ludicrous is the idea of conspiracy to commit a misdemeanour as being a serious crime
This is just a measure of insane the idea of corporate profits over people's rights has become, where denial to view a digital marketing billboard with no permanent consequence is considered a serious crime, require hundreds of thousands of dollars spent on an investigation and pointless prosecution.

News Corporation gets involved in hacking the computer phone network upon a massive scale, illegal wire tapping, bribery, extortion and blackmail, perverting the course of justice, political corruption, treason and where are the mass arrests, where are the mass raids, nahh, it's just a teency bit of phone hacking, let's pursue the person who blocked a digital billboard for a few hours the fate of the country depends upon it.
So yes it is reminiscent of V where the government pursue tiny infringements as major crimes whilst ignoring major crimes because it might affect corporate profits. So is protest appropriate, is it doing good, of course it is when it redresses the balance between corporate power and influence and real peoples rights. Lies in this world are currently killing millions of people, lies that start wars, lies that protect pharmaceutical profits, lies that keep the junk food industry going, lies that allow out of control pollution and lies that allow the poor to die due to lack of health care or proper diet whilst the rich and greedy wallow in luxury wasting the earth's resources and polluting beyond all reason.
How many people have to die every year due to a minorities greed for more power and money, how many million will it take for you to take notice and we are in the millions.
