    I run Windows, but would be happier if it were open source.

    I don't think so. Windows has been closed source for a long time and even with microsofts new attention to security I think that new exploits would explode to your (and mine) face.

    In many cases open source is good thing (tm), but suddenly opening source code of windows is not one of them.

    One word: Support. I'm not sure what kind of support Dell offers for thin Linux clients, but I'm quite sure that Sun has better support and much more experience on thin clients.

    Then what does that leave director to direct? And somehow I thought that especially directors with some name, and I think Peter Jackson has, have the final word how things are done. And if he doesn't like some lighting or framing he can get other cinematographer or lighting people.
