    But that classifies me as a geek to all but 2-4 people out of 2000+ in my school.
    It should also be noted that on any given day we have 1-3 people working on computers at the school not including me.

    Yes, yes I am tierd of the over use of 'cyber' and while we're complaining the over use of 'geek' is giving true geeks a bad name. Now it's used to describe anyone who knows how to use a computer or any other electronics.

    is that p2p will never become as popular as instant messaging or blogging, but it's not going away completely. Something in between is likely, where it is used by those who really have a use for it kinda like a personal web page where people do it because they find it useful and better than alternatives but not every one needs it so not every one does it.

    If anyone tries to start a rebelion they'll learn more than they want about the power of the patriot act. After all, wouldn't that be like terrorism? We're looking at a defective government that's using its power to increase its power too much. We need to get the people more involved and the media and corperations less involved.

    We've got a drug house across the street from us. The cops won't do a thing because we don't have enough usable evidence or something like that. With all these shortcuts and such we should be able to get these guys a good old life sentece in no time. I'm liking this more already.

    That's why I'm a Linux fan. My school district outta try that one, with 460+ win2k comps and 6 servers (one is linux, the helpdesk server) we're sure to have 10+ comps down at any time and plenty of teachers to pull at their hair. I think we should put a neck on the base of the monitor and then use that new capacitor-battery idea of ThinkGeeks to generate masive power.

    Even at the risk of negative modding, I'll say that 'He' is BS to me and I'll use whatever power source I need to keep my computer running.
