Really I still dont see what all the hype has always been with computers and chess. While chess is a decent strategy game, it no way compares to go(igo). No computer to this day can really be considered a go competitor. Though the day that computers can play go against strong players is when will we probably have true AI of human level.

Even in the AI feild they believe when go is a better measure for thought capacity for a computer than chess...so once again.. just another chess game. I want to see the go games start, when that happens I will be alot more excited about the news, and actually read through the kifu(match record) of the games played, though it probably does help that I do like go more so i find it more interesting than chess.

heres the wikipedia section on go, its got links for probably any other question you might have and even mentions AI and go and the difference in the amount of moves between chess and go(go has a heck of alot more).

  9. Re:Uhhhhh.... on More Jail Time For Computer Crime Starting Next Month · · Score: 1

actually to keep crimes from happening you have to prevent the opportunity. If they really wanted people to stop commiting crimes on computers then they need to start at the buisnesses by having the businesses create a secure network. If the network is secure the average criminal will ignore it and find an easier target. usually anyone with enough skill to break into a secure network realizes that the person administering that network is no fool and the criminal will avoid that network like the plague. they shouldnt make stiffer laws against the criminals they should make laws that require buisnesses to actually make things secure and the same goes for software. If there is a crime im not saying that the criminal should go unpunished they should be punished but also the business that the exploit was done on or the crappy software should be at fault(which opensource like gpl, bsd, mit licenses oddly enough would not be since its your own fault for not securing it better the source is there)

Lets look at BSD alone, who all is using bsd? while everyone knows apple is, so is MS. I doubt MS wants bsd license to become invalid so MS has no choice but to support the gpl in this. Why you may ask. Because if all the licenses become invalid only one of two things happen. either all code goes back to originating owner striped from all who use it. Or all code becomes public domain. And there are alot of companies including MS who would never want to see that happen. Laugh this is really funny because MS really has no choice but to support the GPL and linux in this case even though they dont want to.

    1/4 mile - 13.0 @ 109mph

    Torque - 268 lb-ft @ 6000 rpm

the main thing with the 355 is it corners thats what its better at helps with a mid-engine layout

now lets look at more pricey but better model ferrari f50 GT price for this baby $1,430,000 id say a bit more expensive.
    1/4 mile - 11.2 sec @ 129 mph

one thing though with the f50 GT only three were made so... lets look at something different but dang this is a nice ferrari(besides that price ouch)

instead of just picking another f50 i decided for something at a lower price so heres the ferrari 360 GT at a price of $389,500
    1/4 mile - 12.0 sec @ 115 mph
