While i do agree the onus should be on the video game retailers for selling to minors, what in gods name is a child doing with GTA? My parents had 1 rule in my house: No toy guns. Wanna guess how many toy guns i had as a child? Zero. Why? Because i had parents. Remember when those kids burned down their house because Beavis and Butthead did it? All the lawyers ran to blame MTV, Beavis and Butthead, but none of them asked "Hey, this women let her kids play with matches, why the hell did they have matches? And why were her kids up at 1am to watch Beavis & Butthead?"
In this society, for whatever reason, everyone is looking for a scapegoat. McDonalds made me fat, Marlboro made me smoke, Video games made me kill that guy. People need to shutup and take responsability for what they do. If i drink to much and beat a guy up i cant sue Molsons Brewery can i? ( Concequently something needs to be done to the justice system to make it less appealing to sue everything on the face of the earth )

Instead of a large group of cars stopping at an intersection for 1 or 2 cars to turn left the cops directing traffic just waited until there was a break in the traffic, stopped the one or two straglers and let the cars turn. It was the best drive home ever.

For you that may be cheap, but having a car, a house, a cell phone, car insurance, food bills, entertainment bills it all adds up. And then you come to the realization that that 1200 computer you bought 2 years ago, while great, doesnt compare to spending time with your loved ones. So instead of spending that 200 on a new video card, so you can spend another 120 for two more games, you spend that money on going away with your friends or playing in an ultimate league and buying drinks every teusday for 8 weeks. The XBOX is a once time thing, the LATEST and greatest games still run on it, the same as they did 3 years ago. I dont need to take it in to get a new graphics card ever. Sure in a year or so the newest one will come out, but i know that a year later i wont have to turn the graphics settings way down to play that years xmas blockbuster.
NIC? Seriously you people are your nic's. What this thing really needs is an embedded wireless card to eliminate all the wires. Last thing i want to do is go hunting under a desk ( or worse go hunting for a drop and network cable ) when you could just plug it in, slap USB mouse/keyboard and monitor and bedone. And besides, in 3rd world, dialup and wireless are the most prevalent.
Hey i got this operating system, its REALLY expensive and was designed with the same skill and attention that Linux and other Free ( as in cheap ) OSes were but we PAID are employees and stockholders ALOT of money. Cheap == Bad, so pay for your OS or you'll regret it.
