    Why is it, then, that tyrants, so supportive of pacifists residing in societies tolerant of individual liberty (though chasing such out of their own), are so willing to fund 'human rights groups' when free nations turn their negative attention toward their tyranny?

    I'll say nothing about why pacifists in free societies are always so overjoyed to cavort with dictators...

    Besides, what is plagiarism to an IP pirate?

    NOW how am I going to be able to tell whether my PC is in sleep mode, had a power failure, or is just in a pre-blue screen of death mode, and hasn't got even the nads to display a blue screen?

    My filters let through two instances of the virus before they automatically updated their defs.
    One went to a windows machine and infected it.
    One went to a mac, and did not.
    None of around 7 internal Linux servers were affected of course.

    If you are such a hot shitfired consultant, you'd realize off the bat that:
    a) virii will be written against the OS run by the company most hackers hate
    b) will be written against the most popular consumer OS, simply because viri spread faster in a larger population
    c) a virus written to attack windows will not successfully attack Mac or Linux just as a virus written to attack Mac or Linux will not successfully attack Windows.

    I think your company needs its $200 back.

    I have NEVER for a moment failed to recognise a virus email the moment I saw it.

    I opened one back in 1996, back when people still claimed that there was no such thing as viri that spread by email. Nobody believed that it was an email virus that wrecked my hard drive.

    Nope, it just means that 10,000 more Windows security holes will be exposed, resulting in billions more MS targeted virus/worm attacks by ignorant script kiddies who think they are l33t cause they hate the man. They can code like hell but still can't spell, make change for a ten, or make rational arguments against IP.

    See... the thing is... only congress can designate someone as an "enemy". See, the thing is, Congress passed the Patriot Act, so its rather plain as the gap in your teeth that they've decided that "terrorist groups" are the enemy.

    I seem to recall that the Constitution says something about it being illegal to "give aid and comfort to the enemy". Doesn't say whether said aid and comfort actually has to be about waging violence or just planning the catering for a fundraiser. "Oh, I was just advising them on proper placement of canapes and other horses ovaries, ah don't do that violence stuff..." said the hostess who planned the fundraiser to buy the Zyklon-B for the Keep the Kitch und Kinder Kleen Kommittee.

    I'll also note that the court involved is the relatively insane 9th circuit court, which has an extremely poor record at having its rulings upheld by the SCOTUS.

    A Television Local Area Network, so you can view Tivo'd shows/movies anywhere in the house without having to have multiple Tivo machines (or cable boxes). About time someone recognised that TV is nothing but push media that can go across a network just like anything else.
