America's Army is free i just downloaded it:) it's pretty sweet. go check it out.
It's more realistic too, ie no missle super guns and cheats that I know of.
Directv doesn't work when it rains. Also Comcast DVR has HBO on demand, and free ondemand shows and programming. Directv tivo requires a phone line to stay up to date.
You know they are a bunch of lawyers when they have a menu option called "Intellectual Property" under products.
That is not a product. They should be thrown out of court.
Besides, everyone knows the aliens invented the transistors for us:D
I have a Comcast DVR and it's only $10 a month. I think tivo is $15 and you have to buy equipment. See if your digital cable provider has DVR Equipment. It does not require internet/phone line at all.
You install evault on your main file servers, they upload any changes at nite (the original upload takes a while as it uploads everything).
Then when you need your databack, you just download it or they can mail it to you on any number of physical mediums.:)

I thought most EULA's allow a person to make backup copies.
It's legal to make/keep back up copies of software you purchased. I would think this control is improper.
Granted they uses these imaging products to make illegal copies too, but that shouldn't prevent a user making legit backup copies from playing online.
You can use knoppix STD and Phlak Bootable linux distros to keep the machines clean and give the students tools and "hacking" experience.
I also recommend Target machines (i.e. windows server(web/email etc), solaris server, linux server, couple windows desktops) and make sure you keep symantec ghost images so you can bring them back to state quickly.
Additionally, Firewalls, VPNs, IDS (snort is a good one to learn on).

Use encryption. Eat your peas.
Anyway...
What about running data over power lines? That's the other side of this wonderful coin. Power companies are gonna compete with the telcos once they figure out how to do it.:)
Umm maybe it's not air born radar, but fixed narrow radar.:)
Or even a laser they are calling radar (hint).
The point is, if a parked car is in front of you 100m it's not going to apply the breaks unless you're headed for it AND there is a dramatic approach vector.
Mercedes has this in the AMG line already but it's more of a smart cruise control so u don't have to reset it all the time.
The AMG benz's come with a cruise control system that when active will slow down if a car in front of you is going slower then you, and speed back up to cruise speed when they get out of your way.
It can apply up to 20% of the breaking force of the vehicle too if there is a sudden stop.
you can look at it and watch a flash presentation on the website.
To the dork programmer who doesn't understand how it works: That's why honda didn't hire you for the project:)
You only activate such a system above certain speeds.
So basically it's an autopilot system for a car, but people always change lanes without looking so now they need to invent something to lock the steeringwheel:D
Well I'm a trumpet player so I recommend :
anything maynard fergesson or arturo sandoval
and also
Blues and the Abstract Truth (Oliver Nelson and Freddie Hubbard on trumpet)
