Learn from the mistakes of others and leave while you're on top! Besides, the animated version of The Hobbit is already a gem. (Although if you must... you have my sword)
I don't think it's wise to force everyone into a new, irrelevant (unless you own an HDTV) format just to avoid paying American royalty fees. It took forever for people to fully embrace DVDs, even with all the benefits over VHS. This is not a great enough leap forward to be successful anywhere.
Also, the acronym EVD ("enhanced versatile disc") seems extremely contrived to sound just like 'DVD'.
By age 15, I'd be concerned if they weren't yet looking at porn.
As far as the "don't quickly exit from everything" rule, I think that's a bit unfair... there are plenty of legitimate reasons they might want to (emails, IMs, etc.), and even the naughtiest of children should feel they have SOME privacy. Besides, knowing that you trust them is far more important for their growth than seeing a few naked women (masturbation discovery nonwithstanding).
As far as the RIAA is concered, deleting and 'unsharing' are same thing. Their goal is to stop filesharing, not convince users to pay for what they already downloaded.
The fact that it's built from the Mozilla code base is encouraging... Unfortunately (according to the FAQ), it won't be available until the first quarter of 2004
All I can see is a 800x526 jpeg.

"...what happens if the spam is from outside the US? In this case, you're just as screwed!"
OTOH, it might be good if all spammers to want to pretend they're from the US... maybe they'll finally learn some god damn English!
With the new bill, we have to rely on and trust the 'opt-out' option, something we've been trained NOT to do.
You don't think the Chinese government will impose restrictions of their own?

That's what I said, 20 people will read it!
This guy should thank him... he gave a link to Donald's site!
Whereas perhaps 20 people would have read that blog before, now thousands will.

When Amazon can patent simple online sales methods, you know there's a problem with the process.
Wouldn't this be better served as a slashdot poll?
