  1. Re:Proof of User at the Keyboard on The RIAA's Hit List Named · · Score: 2, Insightful

They can't prove anything actually. But your guilty if your name is on that list man. Unless you could prove yourself innocent. Well you could always get a copy of Sub7, put it on all your computers and get rid of stuff like log files and stuff. I mean what is going to prevent people from doing this? I'm not saying to do this I just don't see any real way they can convict you without reasonable doubt that your innocent. It's almost impossible to really prove if someone did or not.

www.k_lite.tk_Kazaa_Lite@Kazaa Actually that could be me. I don't share music though. I wonder if they'll bust me for sharing around 12gigs of fansubbed anime that's not out in the States? Hopefully the RIAA doesn't care about anime. Oh yeah by the way can they actually sue me for sharing stuff that you won't be able to get here in the next 5 years legally? Don't they have to prove damages or something? Or else I'm screwed(By the way I'm still sharing; good anime needs to get out there, anyway I couldn't buy a ligit copy and play it on a home DVD player anyway so what am I supposed to do? Do they want me to move to Japan?)

Does anyone remember that music video called "hellbound" I believe. All the factory workers wear these happy goggles and work really hard but when their life is over and they take the glasses off they realized their life had been a total failure and completely meaninless. It was done in claymation with really depressing music. Does anyone else remember this?

I tried the latest Mandrake and Red Hat distros, but I find SuSE 8.2 to be both the most user friendly and also very comprehensive in it's packaged software. If you want to try it out go to linuxiso.org and then click on forums and look for a post with a link to an FTP with all five isos on it.(Remember only to try it now).

Yeah first of all how do they know that your Metallica.mp3 isn't really some live concert of theirs that you can't buy in the stores anyway. Shouldn't I be able to download the song that I have legally purchased, and have a huge library of all my music cds in MP3 format on my computer so when I'm over staying at my other house I don't have to bring 2 boatloads of cd cases, and I can just DL all of my files off of my user name with my cable internet connection. Actually they haven't lost a cent from me dling music. I dl music that i want to try out and if i like it I support the artist. They get way more money from me now that I fileshare then because I'm introduced to many more artists that I would otherwise have never heard of, and decide to buy their stuff. They just don't get it. Technology scares these people.

Have any of you recorded a movie off of the TV or perhaps changed the radio station when the commercials came on?... Just a thought but technically your stealing from the Recording Industry. Well anyway I use kazaa to get TV shows that haven't come out in the US yet. I'm an avid anime watcher and by the time an anime get's to the US I'm either not interested anymore or it's been butchered beyond recognition and completely loses the spirit of the show. I refuse to watch this processed dumbed down mush. I would rather DL it and watch the subs then to wait another 4 years to see it after it has been completely ruined.

No name "independant" artist? You mean the kind that isn't forced to process their music into mush in order to meet the recording industries version of marketable music. I don't want recording companies deciding what bands should be popular and available. I want good bands tomake it big not ones seleted by whomever to be their new "big hit".
