Have you actually played a AD&D tabletop game? There's a lot more than just "game" that goes on.

Thats probably the best way to do this ;)

I usually stick on RP servers, but that's kinda sad cause you lack the emotion of the character.

If Im playing a paladin, and partied with a wizard, 2 clerics, and a rogue.. and the rogue is doing naughty tricks (not evil or unlawful, mind you), I'd give a stern look and a growl-like sound.. Sort of like a scowl, but how do I express this in NWN?

NWN on anything but RP is a glorified version of "Diablo 3" (do-ya-blow).

Second, I dont know if I believe in evolution quite myself.. Basis is there's not enough information available to make AN INFORMED decision. We can find dino bones almost everywhere.. Just dig where fossils are common. We have fossils dating back to the precambrian era.. Why not to the era that links current humans to the apes?

If anything, NWN is a really handicapped version of AD&D 3.0 with too many bugs to count.. I'd name them off, but if you play more than 1 hour, you'll find them.

Never the less, to make NWN more enjoyable, I suggest you get NWN, SoU, and HotU along with downloadable pacthes CEP and PrC (http://nwnprc.netgamers.co.uk/). PrC attempt s to fix a lot of bugs, while adding in about 50 new classes, modifying the epic spell system so that it does NOT require feats, and adding of a bunch more feats in general.

I, so far, have played on 2 servers with all of these patches. It's quite interesting to see a floating skull casting magic at rapid fire (demilich class).

    This is consumer.. trash.

Most, if not all things made for consumers are made with this lack of quality in mind. Motherboards at least have a replaceable chip (unlike some dell models). Some high-ish quality X86 boards have 2 bioses that keep a known good copy on second chip.

You must be aware that most devives with updateable firmware also suffer this.. problem. Some older graphics cards actually had removable Bioses, as well did scsi cards.

Once device I know that does not have this problem is the stable hardware on teh Compaq Proliant servers. There's extremly stable text mode drivers along with keyboard imput and ide drivers. You update the upgradeable bioses on the hard drive. Something causes problems? Reload from cd and redo the "bios" partition.

Lucent USB wifi modules also do something similar... The driver for the host computer updates "onload" the firmware. A firmware updfate on those are as simple as telling the driver to upload this file instead of this other file.
