There's also a little exemption in copyright if its not commonly attainable (some 70's song you heard long ago and nobody carries it. You get it off of kazaa)
Can you really say that Mal-Wart is THAT worse than MS?
Both have really big share in the US. Both move in to the area and gobble up all "generic" stores. Only speciality stores can survive until the Big ones move in to that sector. Mal-Wart is actually cheap. MS software is crappy and isnt cheap.
If you want stable, albeit old, use the TESTED GOOD Debian Stable packages. They're old as the hills, and little problems to boot. They just work.
If tyou want something current, but more buggy (desktop or somesuch) go with source-compile like FreeBSD or Gentoo Linux. Looking at a Fedora system where things are kept current AND in working order (unlike unstable in Debian) would be a good idea too, but you risk going in Lib.hell
I'm waiting for the creation of mini-holes at the new Large Hadron Super Collider over in Europe around 2006-7. If that type of energy could be harnessed, who needs "Mr. Fusion", gasoline, H2, or any other energy substance? Just take unbiodegradible trash and run a city on 1 ton of it.
-- As a note, one gram of pure U235, if converted to pure energy (100% efficency, e=MCC) would power New York city for 1 day. A black hole with top spin is theorised that you could extract 45% of it's mass as inertial energy. 1 ton of crap means you have 900 Lbs of "energy".;-) (and a 1100 lbs heavier black hole)
Past that, if he was a fraud... he was a damned clever one at that.
They may be profit-greedy, but they're not stupid.
If they charged by a "month", I'd wager that they would not count it if you signed up even 1 day after Month X, Day 1. If you do that, you risk pissing most of your gamers off.
Yep, and my dual DSL box has 3 wired (1 being 10/100 ISA) and 2 wireless (802.11b - prism2) nodes. It's a lowly dual 350MHz p2 box with.5 gig ram;-)
Cost = 25$ Why? Cost 25$ for the ISA=>Cardbus adapter from someone who wanted to sell it.
Even the case was a "throwaway" from the local college. I had a junky PSU. Used a future domain scsi card to put a scsi scanner and a 9Gig drive on it too. Got a dvd drive free from an upgrade-repair job.
I'm just thinking how MS could prevent those fines in the future. Seems in europe, if you have the face of no monopoly, you dont get fined. Having a cd like that, they could scrape in what profit there is and get out of that fine stuff.
Well then, it's the Internet too. Tele lines are just data lines with splitters for a/d and d/a coxes for the "phone" part.
342/x
x = "how many reactors they have in operation"
Then your compiler must've fucked up.
See you relied on BUGGY software to make a binary of your "perfect program"
KILL BILL
Of the Dukes of Hazard where the local pig... er umm Sheriff had a pop-up Stop sign to charge passerbys and new residents.
It was deemed crooked by the show, and it's crooked now.
So we can play "pirated" games when they dont allow us due to unfair geographical restraints.
And what if the company dosnt exist any longer?

Probably cause Micheal and them are youngins when it comes to "Teh Intarweb".
My movies off of Usenet. I have SuperNews Account and get all the alt.binaries subcategory.
;-) And I've mirored them on my hd for (cough) safekeping.
I've routinely seen 5 gig packages of mp3's and flacs floating around
I just LOVE the mercedes. Right after the chop shop game me what its worth.
Now that laptop is a pile-o-crap. I've stole better from college students.
DOH!!! Wrong MAC address. Ignore me.

It may be "illegal" but it isnt sure wrong to me.
I copty at least 5 cd's per week for my mp3 server. I aquire them legitly, and return them in a timely fashion. I use that thing called a Library.
Are you selling your Slashdot user name?
Would you accept if I offered (US) $10,000 ?
Bullshit.
.....et cetera...
"Lemee see your tits"
"Lemeee see your pussy"
"I wanna fuck you"
That's why Ol' stern was taken off clear channel.
Fine. Start strip-mining your property. Find out how much your neighbors love it...

Heh.. Just call up Valve and say there was no CD-key in your box set.
The only way to cool is not to get hot.
Go C3.

Yeah... but the Google cache is on Google's property.
