All of their life, Politicians spent time with a profession, most of them are old enough that their interests early on in life were something else but technology. It would seem like since it's their job to supposedly help out the people and businesses by passing fair laws, that they would have more intelligence on how technology works. In this case, all they see it as, is a revenue income for companies that may try to sell that service as a form of package, and will want to collect a bit more coin from it.
You would assume when growing up that all these laws and 'filtering' processes that go into selecting the candidates and the voting system that goes into selecting the final president, that the guy that was voted on would be a decent cut of the rug.
Apparently not. It almost seems that Bush might be a bit too senile for his job, considering that while he has made some large steps, his steps tend to be larger than what should be done, overbounding all.
I often wonder that if they're that old making it into office, that they're not set strongly in their ways by then.
I mean at age 22, I'm carrying some set-in ways myself, I wonder how bad I'll be when I hit 60:)
You know, I don't see anyone complaining when it came down to the PS1, PS2, SegaCD, Dreamcast, Gamecube and all those others that try to use their own form of protection. If they want to build their system in a foolish way, just do so by not buying it and asking your friends to boycott it or through other normal means.
However, if you plan on buying it, then I'd suggest to make sure you know what you are buying before you do so, otherwise you may end up upset if you find out about features you did not want it to have.
Quote from Anandtech's article "The initial frequency is 2.5Gb/s in each direction, with speeds expected to increase with advances in silicon technology up to possibly around 10Gb/s in each direction."
AGP 8x Barely gives over 2.1Gb/s.
Sounds like something is going to get moved somewhere weather it be AGP getting revamped to AGP16x or removed completely all together.
Chances are if it stays, AGP3.0 will be dubbed AGP2.0 High Speed, and AGP 1.0 will be dubbed AGP 2.0Full Speed. 2.0 will be known as AGP2.0:P
That means Windows will run at "Full-Speed" if we buy the cheaper version of Win4Lin4.1! This must also mean Win4Lin makes any version of Windows Backwards compatible all the way to 1.1!
Too bad people don't know how to unplug the ethernet until the firewall is up :P
Considering it's all a hassle... Isn't SP2 supposed to resolve the issue with the Firewall loading last?
