Defending your country includes domestic and foreign defense both off and online. The fact that the military and various government agencies use the Internet is justification for including cyber security as part of defense. Cyber security should be part of the DoD's job.
President Bush explicity referenced rogue states such as North Korea and Iraq as justification for his missile defense system. He's still pushing for it. Why invade Iraq if he can in fact get a working missile defense system that would protect us against Iraq and North Korea?
The fact that he invaded Iraq implies that he lacks confidence in his own missile defense system.
I've been a message board admin for 3 years and one of the worst things that can happen on a message board is HTML posting. HTML can be used maliciously. That by far outweighs any words that a troll could use. And believe you me, there are people that would go to that length.
In terms of the hateful words they use, it's important to realize that the Internet is a place where people can be whoever they want--even if they're being someone they're not. So just because people say a bunch of hateful stuff, doesn't mean that they can own up to the words they use. The Internet allows people to build their egos to ridiculous levels.
Maybe Microsoft needs to determine what the most common software installed on Windows PCs is and even work with software manufactures directly to ensure the greatest compatibility.

It's how we warn ourselves unconsciously about the future. Cloning was science fiction at one time. Skynet was science fiction at one time. And the really messed up part about it was that the first Terminator movie was made before the Star Wars program was created.
Science fiction can easily be based on true, classified, covered up stories too. But the believer is descreditted to the point that he's laughed at by science. Remember the remake of the movie "The Blob"? Who's to say that our government didn't do an experiment with an organism on a satellite that unexpectedly crashed? It could have happened. If the media didn't cover it, no one would believe it. Those who witnessed such events, know that the majority of people who watch science fiction movies won't look for the possibility of there being more science than fiction. But they also know that there will always be those who will.
Politics is like religion, people will defend their views to no end because they're so deeply rooted. It would be better to stay same party if anything. But love is still blind and it could affect decision making.
The Zip disk probably doesn't stand as good of a chance on the LS-120 Superdisk, but it's still around. The LS-120 Superdisk looks just like a regular floppy disk, but it has 120 MB storage capacity. And the drive can still read regular floppy disks.
Is there a limit to what they can patent? I mean, what's stopping Microsoft from patenting everything from wallpaper, cursors and icons to file managers, shortcuts and folder views? If there's no limit, then patents could make it impossible to make an alternative to Windows.

It wasn't a mistake. They were making a point about the legality of the debates by changing what the organization's abbreviation stands for.
Do you have any hard evidence to prove that statement?
This is flamebait how? I have yet to see an explanation from him. Could someone elaborate?

The economy in Florida isn't strong since tropical systems have battered it repeatedly. The Miama Herald might not even exist now.
This looks like bad news in terms of bioterrorism. Terrorists could contract the disease and intentionally spread it among the populus.

Skynet was after all created at CMU. Now Microsoft is giving money to CMU. Will Terminators have glowing blue eyes instead of glowing red eyes?

Party A gets 15% of the vote
Party B gets 20% of the vote
Party C gets 15% of the vote

Now that would create some problems. Actually, I'm suprised they haven't tried to do it.
