Has firefox completely failed to meet it's original goal if I am contemplating a bribe to some developer friends to compile a stripped down version of firefox so it doesn't use so many damned system resources?
Left running for 24 hours, with google homepage and gmail up, I am looking at about 1GB of memory used.
This just does not seem reasonable to me, but I'm a minimalist.
As much as WYSIWYG editors some times suck, Dreamweaver is alright.
I like that it helps with the organization but also lets me get as geeky as I'd like.
It really puts a smile on my face to hear about this sort of thing. The sooner we make ultra distance flights old hat, the sooner our solar system won't seem so big.
It could be said that these animals have in the past ventured out of these single room worlds, and died because they were not equiped for life elsewhere. So, they only are found there.
Or, it could be said that god designed these animals for this one room, so they are only found there. Since they would not evolve, in the god scenario, they could never live anywhere other than where god placed them.
I am no linux expert. Just a geek, who spends most his time with windows. (oh boy, I'd better put on my flame suit) But, with such a small distro, what can you run? With so little space, what users who's not a geek, will find a system usefull? I can't imagine surviving with anything less than 20GB or so these days.
Myself, I couldn't see myself trusting any company or application like this. Seems like every time I have to fix someone's computer, it's because of shit they got from kazaa or whatever.

So, what you're saying is, google is just a huge pr0n gathering opperation? :)
. . . is pushing the flight envelope these days.

Happens all the time. Don't worry about it. :)
Not really unexpected at all.
But I wonder what costs there are that we might not think of.
Beyond disposal if goods and keeping of secrets.
Your acronym usage makes the baby jesus cry.
I love you, Grub.
Not as much as I liked Redneck Rampage though.
"Hey Leonard!"
*hangs head in shame*
1 Petabyte is enough pr0n?
:)
For who?
You're new here, aren't you?
This is almost word for word what I was going to say.
They might have screwed up to put you there, but it's not going to be their ass on the chopping block when you botch the job.
Run for another job!
Yeah, it's embarrasing that we haven't dropped a probe by to say hello. It's so close (relatively) and yet we have no great detailed imagery of it.
I would love for there to be awesome new info found on such a mission. Then we'd have reason to go out again, and again.
Anything, really, to spark some new desire for space exploration and development!
This is the internet I try to hold onto.
People coming together for a common good.
I'd love to see more of that.
I like fake tits to jiggle a bit. Silicon is a bit hard, like cuddling with bowling balls. :)

Either way, interesting to think about.
As pointed out, another urban legend. But this doesn't make it any less scary. I hate spiders! grrrrrrr :)

I hear it flames out once it goes plaid.
I'm with you, man.
:)
I thought the game was boring as could be.
Makes me glad I was only playing on someone elses system. I would have been pissed if I had actually payed for it.
It sure can help.
How much fun would World of Warcraft or any multiplayer game be if nobody else was playing it?
It'd be pretty damn boring, if you ask me.
Throng, thra throng throng throng. . . . . .
Are there any examples of a company doing the opposite, and coming out on top?
I said the exact same thing.
Myself, I couldn't see myself trusting any company or application like this. Seems like every time I have to fix someone's computer, it's because of shit they got from kazaa or whatever.
On the other hand, people keep smoking.
Well, this really doesn't change my opinion of them much.
Not with a name like that.
America!
FUCK YEAH!
