I'm not aware of the PC version having this feature sadly
That said, if you do this with any regularity, ABBYY FineReader (especially version 8 which is tough to find) works marvelously - probably better than any add-on feature in excel
I've had to spend many hours doing this on large quantities of bank/brokerage statements in the context of consulting engagements
I just started getting a large number of such calls which are really quite distracting - thankfully I don't have to pick them up as I know they are clearly robocalls (my business doesn't involve calls to my cell phone from otherwise unknown numbers)
In doing a bit of research, it appears there are essentially three approaches:
(1) on an iphone with ios 11 or 12, it supports a variety of apps which integrate with the phone app to filter obvious robocalls
(2) on android phones, there are a bunch more options than with an iphone
(3) on any phone --> my simple approach since I don't want to update my ios (and consequently break my relatively smoothly operating iphone), is to just set my default vibration/ring to silent and set the 20 or so real contacts on my phone who I'd pick up from if there were to call with a custom ringtone of a normal ring tone with vibration (i.e., a manual whitelist process - took me 5 minutes maybe and I'm no longer bothered a few times per day with having to check my pocket).
I myself actively avoided it for this very reason - why risk my google account when there were reports of it being disabled for no good reason and no room for appeal with the only benefit of using a nascent social media platform?
I only wish I had the time for games (I don't think I've spent a significant amount of time on gaming in a decade)
I made the decision years ago to buy an i7 laptop without discrete graphics in exchange for 2 extra cores which was the trade-off at the time for discount laptops (which I of course don't really need but my thinking is that an overpowered processor in a laptop which never breaks a sweat is more likely to last longer and run cooler; whereas I never really play games)
well, I suppose when you need more hardware in the future, if you want to use windows 7, you might be able to find windows drivers for them even if they are not obvious - that's what I did with that laptop above I bought in 2014, it wasn't legitimately supported by win 7 (it came with win 8) though by googling hardware id's, I found compatible drivers for just about everything in that hp
I mostly prefer win 7 for having perfect office 2003 + AHK support
I just wish my job weren't so windows dependent but I ultimately use Office 2003 whenever possible (in rare situations I have to access some silly excel file with so much formatting the file format converters don't work on it)
The easiest way around that, in my experience, is to install Office 2010 (the least obnoxious "modern" version) in sandboxie in windows 7 (note you'll need to have at least one Office 2010 app installed conventionally for the sandboxed apps to work right; I use Outlook 2010 natively because that's a bump up from Outlook 2003 unlike all the other apps)
and in the future, when you can't run windows 7 natively anymore, just use virtualbox on top of whatever OS you have being wary of available/allocated ram (oddly I've found vmware to not work too well with office 2003 as compared to virtualbox)
by signing up at the above (well in advance of the return due date, it's likely too late to ask for one for your 2016 return), it essentially functions as a password for your return
(1) you could use tags if you want which would function as well if not better than folders
(2) the api seemingly allows one to export your notes pretty easily at least with the windows client (resophnotes)
I've been using simplenote for years with resophnotes as my primary client and it automatically syncs with my iOS version on my phone so I can research things in a pinch
I use it as a sort of knowledgebase where any individual idea or thing I'd want to come back to gets its own note (plus I have some scripts to generate a header/name for each note automatically so it sorts in my desired way...) I have around 1100 notes now
I used to use evernote before mobile devices became a thing and the new version was too slow for me to tolerate it
...size are heritable/genetically determined in the first place
if everything were heritable/genetic then we'd never have childhood fatal cancer cases anymore since those kids don't live long enough to have their own children
the more concerning trend, I suppose, which is more meaningfully genetic is that those with lower IQ's tend to have more children than those with higher IQ's...
As a corporate accountant, I've dealt with all sorts of banking transactions and various bureaucratic systems in companies.
I suspect that Comcast has no official mechanism to deal with issuing a check in these circumstances and it simply fell through the cracks until it received media attention.
As for Comcast's suggestion to the effected individual, in a sense, it probably wasn't bad advice (albeit still embarrassing) - his bank likely has the ability to reverse the transaction since it was initiated by a third party without authorization, i.e., any time someone else initiates a "direct debit" (i.e., a withdrawal) from your account, if they can't provide evidence of your authorization, the funds can be "clawed back" (subject to them still being in the account that they went to).
Whoever he spoke to at Comcast probably realized the lack of an established process to cut him a check and suggested that the bank simply reverse the unauthorized debit.
In a sense you're right but at the same time, it's a better value than most any other [bundled] channel in that it
1) has no commercials
2) wide variety of content all on demand
3) costs less than any other channel available a la carte
4) offers multiple stream plans
you can always go pure a la carte but that's oddly more expensive in the form of buying just what you want from amazon
They are intentionally just lower than the cost of driving on your own - if they were raised, I'd rent a car to drive where I need since that's cheaper (especially than taking LIRR trains on the weekend)
-Convince my future children to study abroad in Scandinavia (or some other legitimately 1st world country) and ultimately move there
-When they do, I'll follow
-Give up on the United States as it's a poor excuse for a 1st world country (especially when we trail in virtually every measure)
Consider watching the first 10 minutes of Newsroom except that the anchor there has higher hopes and expectations than I do (i.e., much easier to go somewhere already fixed than live in a place which will be broken for a long while...)
I've been reading all of the coverage and commentary about the 737 Max on slashdot and I thought this was a post I already read...
indeed it is but the only difference is the formatting of the word "fuck" --> lol
this is not the say I dislike the comment, it is a great comment and continues to be applicable; keep on posting it as opportunities arise
Could it perhaps be that those with more expensive rigs are just more serious gamers who play more and are thus more skilled?
Further, the headline had me scratching my head for a moment as I wasn't sure if it were people who were high playing a FPS...

As someone who has used the MX500, MX518, then the G400S (in succession) over the past 15 years, I can say they are all roughly the same
Further, I've found that the G400S was probably the best variant from a mechanical/comfort standpoint
That said, I'd buy whatever "clone" mouse of that style is available when I need one
All of the logitech with more silly features and sharp edges/angles don't look too appealing to me
maybe so but check out this...

i.e., even when, frighteningly, a LOT of insects have died off, the ecosystem is still okay seemingly?
I would guess if we killed off all of the aedes aegypti, trophic compression would solve the problem sufficiently

Yes, the 620 miles sounds like the new/impressive part

goodness, I didn't know the season started - I like how I found out about it on slashdot
:)
thanks for letting me know
I think the expanse is all on prime now?
but i suppose you were watching it before it was available that way
definitely scratches the itch post BSG
agreed !
what type of place do you live in such that this happens so often?
People should consider asking for an IP PIN to help prevent an additional vector of identity theft

At my company we call this "focusing on the number to the right hand side of the decimal point"
As a corporate accountant, I've dealt with all sorts of banking transactions and various bureaucratic systems in companies.

Hmm...
Out of curiosity, why couldn't you just reformat the records to match the table structure for access then import conventionally?
Don't raise the rates on public transportation
They are intentionally just lower than the cost of driving on your own - if they were raised, I'd rent a car to drive where I need since that's cheaper (especially than taking LIRR trains on the weekend)
I'm married and have developed myself largely, professionally, as someone with local skills
I don't hate the US enough to move out - I just don't like it enough to ultimately convince my children to move somewhere better
Where did you ultimately go and why? What is your trade/background?
For better or worse my plan is to...
-Convince my future children to study abroad in Scandinavia (or some other legitimately 1st world country) and ultimately move there
-When they do, I'll follow
-Give up on the United States as it's a poor excuse for a 1st world country (especially when we trail in virtually every measure)
