Hahaha listen, here's the first rule of Slashdot - you don't get to make fun of the rest of the web for being the same opinion-reinforcing feedback loop that this place is.
I like your solution - it's a grand idea to get the government involved in every little detail of life so that things are constantly held to some arbitrary ideal of fair promulgated by some dude who lives in another country. That's clearly a road to happiness.
It's not exactly reasonable to be miffed, Apple doesn't owe them anything. The people who bought an iPhone at 599 did so with full knowledge of the price.
They certainly do have a right be upset, no question. What they did not have was the right to expect everyone else to play by their rules. Basically, they can cry about it, but that's it.
Not to be a pain in anyone's ass, but it's not "newly" conscious. This is the process, it has been the process for over two hundred years. Congress has passed and will continue to pass laws that don't stand up to judicial muster. That's one of the biggest reasons for the judicial system.
Of course, in a forum like this, it's easier to be derisive and act like know-it-alls, but in truth, the system works very well, considering the sheer complexity it faces to do anything at all.
wow. So you never considered what is essentially the purpose of the court system as the purpose of the court system? I can pretty obviously not factor your opinions in the future.

Actually, it's entirely possible your post is just one big joke, since you totally mischaracterized both religious people and atheists. I doubt it, somehow, it just seems pointless as a joke since it wasn't funny.
Nobody says they can't coexist - but your personal beliefs in something spiritual have no place being pushed into other people's psyches, no matter how gently, unless specifically invited to do so.

It amazes me how actually looking and trying to find out the answer is looked down upon by religious people, when just deciding that some superman in the sky sneezed everything into existence is defended so vociferously.
The biggest complaint so far in the reviews is the awful control scheme. Maybe playing it through the PSP's interface will fix that. Certainly worth watching, in any case.
Since this is likely to be read by a lot of Sony fans, what games would you say are worth playing at this point? I have no interest in Motorstorm, so skip that one. I keep having an urge to buy a PS3, I just haven't found anything I want to play yet and some honest opinions would be appreciated.
You have a serious lack of understanding about the Cell. The SPEs aren't cores in the same sense as the CPU in the 360. Also, the 360 has a 3 core processor,
Just some factual corrections. Your opinions don't really mean anything to me.
Certainly, decide what to do based on human need.
Now, who decides what those needs are and how to fill them? And who does all the heavy lifting? How do the logistics work, exactly?
Engendering feelings of irritation and discomfort are evil? Cool, does that mean I'm allowed to kill someone who bumps into me on the subway?
Interesting theory. Where does that leave the millions of us who think Republicans and Democrats are both retarded?
Thank you for the specific examples. It really doesn't change my point.
Anyone who says ads are evil has a whacky moral compass, and they're diluting the term.
Bah terms of service. If they didn't want people stealing it, they shouldn't make it available.
No, I'm lying. I couldn't possibly care less.
No, that's the first rule from the dating handbook.
It's not even commendable. It's so far outside the norm that it should be classified in the next edition of the DSM as an antisocial disorder.

Ah, usability traded for executable size. That's a bargain only a Slashdotter could love.

Boo hoo.
Nothing like running directly to the bottom of the slope. Is it tough to keep your footing when it's that slippery?
The Nintendo Wiilchair?

No one could ever forget it. We just hope if we ignore it long enough, it will go away.
