    Mac OS X interface IS resolution-independent from 10.0

    P.S. There are optimum DPI. That optimum is simple - lovest DPI that overexeeds human eye resolution.
    For now such resolution is only achiveable on Philips/E-Ink electronic paper, in monochrome.

    Take a look at bees and ants - there's "greatest and most efficient distribution & exchange of resources to individuals at the lowest possible cost".
    Another example of "most efficient distribution & exchange of resources to individuals at the lowest possible cost" - sleeping people in "The Matrix" movie.
    By the way, lowest possible cost - WHO exactly pay it? I mean lowest possible cost OF WHAT and FOR WHO?

    Reading comments here, anyone can see that 95% of posters not even once clicked on the only link in 3-line article!

    Two things:

    1. Click on TFL and take a look at that cite. Theres answers for yours stupid assumptions.

    2. Protecting software aimed not at uncrackability but on GETTING TIME UNTIL NEXT VERSION.
      Example: Mac OS X Intel 10.4.2 WAS NOT cracked until 10.4.3, and thus - it will never be cracked. Got it?

    Just wait.
    And after second reboot all will be ok.

    There are some heavy things system doing during first reboot.
    Don't shut it down or hard reset!

    Thanks. Seen that, yesterday - looking at oscillogrammes, all of them exept shuffle are just crap. Looks like there are unsufficient power from supply or in-line capasitor in output lines.
    I'd like to see such grafs with external power for players.
    I'd like to see such grafs with 47 k instead of headphones.
    Looks like there are plenty of room for thing like "Belkin audio purifyer"

    There are plenty of standarts. For example, 250 mV, 750 mV, 755 mV, 1,0 V. All my home equipment runs at 250 mV. So, 1 V is a 6 dB OVERLOAD of input in my case. I'm sure, you know this is bad.
    And almost for sure is hearable even at 70 MPH

    Yes, you can get same voltage easy. So what? How about matching output impedance, for proper work of output amlifyers in iPod? Look at your's AV receiver - 50/50 it has "LOW Impedance" mode for speakers. And there are only difference between 4 and 8 Ohms! You are talking about difference 600 to 15000. You HAVE TO think hard about this while designing such devices. Or you WILL hear distorted sound even at 70 mph in subway.

    Parent tells that Apple not patented that thingy coase they not invented it and it was invented long before patenting question stands.

    Your examples are nice, but seems that Apple can at least arguably pretend at inventing all of them (may be exept overclocking ;)

    Heh, good old times... Pure assembly, counting every byte and clock cycle, permanent competition - who's program is smaller and faster? Can I do it better? Compilers (working), written for bet of interest from zero in assembly in three days, debuggers, hand written replacement libraries for commercial compilers...

    sadly, it's gone for me. Now I just can't do what I before lazied to do.

    I was born in Ukraine, been a student in Kharkov, live now in Russia for like 10 years. My family lives still in Donetsk region.

    Look at your own press, man. Same at least shit.
    And Putin is definitively the best president of all 3, Russia and USSR got. Need a proof? Go get it - economical stability and growth. All the time Putin is president.

    In fucking 90(?) I woted for division of Ukraine from USSR. Know why? Because Ukr has like 34 % of USSR production and like 20% of population. Got what I mean? Ukrainians for now have to be 1.7 times reachier than Russians.
    Instead you still have fucking demonstrations and mitings, and kinda "democracy" in press (what a naivity!).

    But I earn in 3 days my mom month salary. Or my father. Or my brother, which still lives there.

    Question is - from my point - have a fair press moral rights to
    a) protect people who actually broke signed contract - i.e. broke the law and their own say word of honor;
    and b) invite people to act like that.
    I'd say - no and no.
    First - not to cover and protect liars and lawbreakers and second - not involve people to be liars and lawbreakers.
    For fair press, at least. And only fair press deserves to be protected.

    And keep in mind, that in this case we have nothing to do with political censorship or repression, against which actually that 1-st amendment is pointed.
