CS (and all other half life mods) can use HLTV which supports up to 128 spectators, without affecting the match (30-60 second delay, players don't see text, not a bandwidth hog). HLTV can also record the entire match. Gotfrag and other sites host a lot of HLTV demo's from playoff matches. I'm not sure if newer games have an HLTV equivalent yet or not.
I'm a nerd.
Of course games are then limited to 60fps, which is fine for me, but some people claim to be able to feel the difference.
turn of vSync in opengl setting on your video card.
You get what you pay for. When you rely on free or low-cost products, you often get the shaft, and that, in my opinion, is exactly what governments are on track to get.
Is he implying that there is room up there for another shaft?
New players invariably take licks while trying to learn any game. Trying to get through the learning curve against people who've been playing a game for years is a tough situtation, but you'll have to deal with it.
Fps games really boil down to map memorization.
And if you're worried about cheaters, you'll need to play console games instead. It's to easy to download skill then take the time and develop it.
freaks me out. There's that "indie" musak playing, and every customer is sitting at a table alone going over spread sheets or reading books that are far to thick.
more like a forum rant than a well thought out 'article'. But with that being said, he's got some good points, snipers in FPS are used offensivly on the battlefield, instead of supporting an area from a safe distance. Especially game where the maps are relativly small.
(and not having one shot kills is like saying the bullets are defective. it's meant to go kill a person, not tickle them to death)
I saw this bumper sticker yesterday:
"I hope for a the day that our schools have all the funding they could ever wish for, and our Army has to hold a bake sale to buy a bomber."
Why out smart people (or just get along) when you can just bomb them?
O.K. it's time to shut off the internet. Thanks for your participation everybody.

what in the hell is a VCR?
Remember to say "Hi." to Mr. Ashcroft for me.
"You know they say that you can't buy happiness, so I guess I'll just have to rent it."
it makes me proud to be a Masshole too
I don't have the answer, except to ask for forgiveness when i say that "god that sounds sexy"

More importantly;
Does anyone in HR use these boards to look for an employee?

"Never mind." said Ford. "Rome wasn't burned in a day."
No, rumors were that the mini would be 2GB, and they already had a 20GB model on the market for a while.
I still have my cloth Ultima 7 2: The Serpent Isle map hanging on the wall.

...they spent as much time fixing code as they do looking for lawsuits maybe we would like Windows...
I enjoy murdering digital representations of people.
