I have a $280 Dell 400SC system running a 2.8Ghz P4 with 800fsb and it is nearly silent. You need to put yuor ear behind the case to hear anything.

Everyone is complaining how boring the landscape is. What is really needs are "South of the Border" billboards like on rt 95. An gas station sell real indian jewlery, and beef jerky too.
When it is as fast to accelerate / has the same top speed / same warrenty / can go the same distance on one "tank" / and costs the same as a new 2004 Nissan Maxima then I and most people will buy it.
the cool thing about the 1961 NASA mission was that when they reached 130,000 fet the pilot jumped out, and began free falling past the speed of sound before opening the parachute.
I think it would be best to look towards the future and use CAT6 cables for network and phone. I would probably use a all-in-one cable like

it has (2)CAT6 / (2) RG6 Coax / (2) Fibre all in one tight jacket for easy pulling, even if you don't use the fibre I would run it anyways and just not put on the fibre connectors
