You can't play games and record the video on linux.
Well yeah, you can, maybe. Compared to fraps it is a pita.
I play games on my windows box and occationally I want to record something for youtube. It's just not viable to do that in linux, even if you could run the game in Wine. I switch to linux for editing. Kdenlive is very nice for that.
Debian "unstable" is always quite up to date. All new features and packages are introduced in unstable first. Don't let the name confuse you -- it's about as reliable as most distributions' released versions. It's "unstable" in the sense that it gets constant updates, which means that things are always changing. Every once in a blue moon, a change will actually seriously break something for a day or so. Maybe once every 3-4 years in my experience.
I think that is painting a bit too pretty a picture of it. It definitely breaks more often than that. Count on having problems whenever the build system or the core set of libraries are updated, or whenever a larger set of software packages are updated like KDE. In these cases you seriously need to know what you are doing or you will end up in a situation where your packages get caught it a dependency deadlock. Your old packages have been uninstalled and the new ones won't install because of some missing package.
This happens often enough in my experience for me to not recommend running unstable unless you know what you are doing and are prepared to look under the hood when the emergency eventually arises, because it will.
To calculate the light spectrum of a star you need three components. Light from spontaneous emission, light from stimulated emission and lastly absorbtion. How these three source contribute again depends on star size, temperature and metal composition. That's one example.
One of the central patents cited is EP 0443676 which concerns the MPEG-2 codec which is granted by the European Patent Office, not the national patent offices. Had the patent application been filed in any of the member states, their patent office would likely rejected the patent on grounds that algoritms are not patentable. EPO has no such qualms, however and will happily grant software patents, even though they know they are probably not enforcable.
There is a case running in the Danish Maritime and Commercial court regarding the MPEG-2 patents between Phillips and Danish company Dicentia A/S. Dicentia has requested that the patent be invalidated in Denmark.
When you say JavaScript implementation, you mean a replacement engine for the standard one in KHTML, right? KHTML had javascript and it was working fine before Apple started ripping it apart. Same goes for CSS. HTML5 was still just being talked about when they did the fork, so obviously couldn't have been implemented at the time.
It may be a breach of their contract with the client. By contract they are delivering a set top box to the customer and the license for the set top box software requires them to make the source available. Not a lawyer of course, so I don't know if they can just say - 'duh, give us the box back, then.'.
In Denmark, registered mail sent before 1800, is guaranteed to arrive the next morning except if you sent it on friday, in which case it arrives monday morning.
Frankly I am old enough and bitter enough to just want kids like that off my lawn, my neighboors lawn, and if they are loud enough, the field next to it as well for that matter.
From BBC news - "But local people, fearing a rave was going to take place after previous events with loud music at the same premises, alerted the police."
In other words, this bunch were notorious around town for partying all through the night, playing loud music and generally being a pain in the ass to everybody else. They may have been just barbequeing when the police showed up, but the locals knew what was comming and decided enough was enough.
There is a difference between making a bogus account on some random forum or website, and registering for something you pay for usually with a credit card.
Well, you have to fill out your personal details, like your real name and where you live to get an account, so presumably they can find all accounts and ban them that way. Also, from what the guy stated, he doesn't want to play anymore. Remember that he exchanged the in game currency for real life currency, which is the whole problem. Otherwise the scam is perfectly within the rules of the game and had it only been for that, he could have continued to play the game.
It seems unlikely that that many people would be allergic.
It couldn't have been toxic gases from mixing of the cleaning agents or the lady doing the cleaning would certainly have been affected most. Not being able to smell doesn't give you immunity to toxic gases.
Likely the people just felt ill because of the bad smell and felt the need to see a doctor about it.
All the developer tools were spun off a couple of years ago into CodeGear, which was bought by Embarcadero last year.
All those tools you knew are still alive and well. Delphi 2009 is the best native Win32 developer tool in the world and the language is experiencing a renaissance with the addition of new language features such as generics and anonymous methods. The whole environment has recieved major upgrades as well, which has also benefitted C++ builder, since they use the same IDE. They are also really starting to nail down the documentation side, which honestly has been the suits weak point for years.
Not to mention bottlecaps.
Testing poasting..
HI, How are you doing
I just want to say that this is a test.

When they got KMail running on the akonadi backend, it will be ready, imho.. Until then, it's just a toy.
It's just an integer increment. 1, 2, 3, ..., 19, 20, 21, 22, and so on. And they do a major rewrite of some part of it every time.

I've got it running on a dead badger.
You're an idiot!
What if you have already tried C++ and found the syntax to be archaeic? Anyway, yeah, check out Lazarus. It's really starting to look mature.
